ARTICLE: Brady Quinn charging for autographs

Cleveland took Thomas with the 3rd overall pick and I don't see anyway that Quinn will get more than Thomas. I'm not sure of the figure Thomas has signed but he was signed last night six-year deal that's voidable after five

Has little control over?

Again, come on!

If you think he's in control of his contract, then I can't help you.

Simple fact, if his agent doesn't get him the absolute best deal he can (which entails using the precedent that Emmit's agent set years ago), then his agent won't be getting very many good cleints...now will he.

And he does not know the rules up front?

Come on.

I mean he could insist on autograph free, but any memorabilia autographed would have to come from the vendor.

and sportscompanya can tell quinn to go away and they'll hire someone else for the event. sure he could do that.

like it or not sports is a *business* not a love fest for fans cause they want it that way.

like many have pointed out - athletes do this all the time - yet because quinn has some effect on the cowboys, he's suddenly a bad guy and this is a sign of bad times for the browns because *we* want it to be true.
