No like breakin 2 electric boogaloo electric.

anyone seen turbo?

Wow. I can't believe I just read that. I'm a physical therapist and I treated a guy recently whose song (his band at the time) was on that obscure soundtrack and I mentioned it to someone today who also treated him. It was their only "notable" achievement - not that it was a hit or anything. I don't even know why I went into that much detail...The point was that I can't believe I had just referred to such an obscure movie earlier today and now I'm reading that same title. "Turbo and Special K" classic....:D

What are you saying?
i'm saying it would be smart for detroit to trade Roy while they can still get value for him before he becomes a free agent. but since the lions general manager(matt millen) is the dumbest gm in the league i doubt Roy wears the star next season.

I remember seeing that movie at the theater when it first came out back in the 80's.

Heck, I even bought the soundtrack on tape as a kid. Ozone and Turbo. Where'd they go? :D

Those were the days. Life was good back then.

So wouldn't DET just be shuffling off to us the same problem they'd have after the season: re-signing Williams? Would we be able to afford to do so with Newman and Barber and the like needing to be re-signed? Would we franchise Williams?

Exactly.....thank you!

Why is everybody thinking that our #28 will get it done....think harder.

He'd sign an extension so fast your head would swim.

Assuming we can workout a somewhat long term deal with Roy Williams, then I'm all about trading one of our 1sts for him. No way you could be guaranteed to get as good a WR in the draft. Spend the other 1st round pick on a CB. Then the 2nd round pick on a RB.

Which would you prefer it to be?
i'd perfer to answer the question since you have a hard time doing that whenever i mention your "inside info" comment.

Why is it that Detroit can't afford 2 top flight receivers, but we can along with a high priced 3rd receiver. What am I missing?

Calvin Johnson's bonus alone is more than our entire WR staff, plus they have contracts to Sean McDonald and Mike Furrey and dead money in Charles Rogers and Mike Williams.

Nothing I answer will be met with anything other than skepticism and you know it.

Re-read the article. Where have you heard every point before? I assure you I did not write that article.

that's not true. if you said it was speculation i'd say ok. if you said it was "inside info" i'd ask what you heard.

EDIT: that clown just talks and contradicts himself and says stuff that doesn't even make sense. it's one thing when recievers talk about how they want the ball or how good they are. but this clown just talks to talk. he also had his best season when they went 13-3. give me boldin or somebody other than him or ocho.

I think this deal can be done for our #28. If this deal makes all parties happy then it will get done.
