And of course Phyllis being a big time Cowboy fan was a plus. Her best interview I saw was with Roger.

Yeah when Roger said his thing about the comparison between him and Namath

Exactly. "He likes it as much as the next guy just with same woman":laugh2:

not sure why you think this, pam oliver is great looking. I have seen her a zillion times up close during pregame warmups at the stadium.

She is extremely good looking, has a rather large caboose but that is no prob for me.

I just think that sideline reporters in general man or woman serve no purpose and I really dont think she is very good at it anyway.....

I just think with fox's money they should be able to go get a pro.

I would also like to add, that old cbs show was head and shoulders above any thing before or since then. I can remember like yesterday brent saying you are looking live at candlestick park....etc.

The only problem with that era was that it seemed all the big games were in SF, NY or Chi!!! Either way though that crew was great and I also really enjoyed al, frank and dan in the mnf booth.

My old girlfriend used to look like Pam Oliver, so you know I think she's pretty.

Besides, she's a good journalist, and I think for the studio job, they'd rather have someone who knows more about football. They'll take a less-attractive, some-football knowledge woman over a knockout, dim-wit female studio host any day - and twice on Sundays. ;)

May 5, 2006 -- Fox Sports is strongly considering Pam Oliver or Jeanne Zelasko to host its Sunday NFL pregame show, according to sources.

all the more reason not to watch

:blech:

As someone above said, if they're looking for a woman who really knows football, as well as other sports, Suzie would be the right choice. I don't care what they look like. I just want to listen to people who really understand what the heck it is they are talking about.

I don't know her name but there is a woman who announces college football games who is just excellent.

From our own board, either WG or La Tuna would do very nicely.

Maybe Im in the minority but I like Pam Oliver.

she's not the greatest, but at least she's not an obnoxious nitwit or braindead bimbo. I mean she can get up there and talk football without having to read it.

I'm fairly sure Bonnie Bernstein retired, otherwise I'm sure she'd be on Fox's list.

Why not hire away suzy kolber, she is excellent and better looking than both of those women.

I guess I just dont understand why they would put Pam Oliver in as host...

I do agree that Suzy Kolber would be excellent as a host and she's nice to look at but I have to admit that I find Pam Oliver very attractive also.

but anyway, i've seen espn saturday morning college football several times when they had a female doing play by play, (at the risk of sounding sexist) it just didn't seem right.

No offense to LBOH, aka Jennifer, I think she has Radio Face :) She is by no means ugly at, but definetly not a TV face.
