As of today who would you pick at #18?

Take Manny Lawson. If 18 is too high for him then trade down a few spots and grab him.

I think they grab a RT, K, and FS in free agency.

Manny Fresh may not make it to 18

I would put myself on the Bobby Carpenter bandwagon. I also like Winston Justice but just don't see us going O-line in the first.

Manny Lawson...if he's still there.

If not, I really like Ko Simpson in a trade down. We can pick up a 4th rounder and drop just a couple of spots for it. I'm not a big fan of Carpenter and breaking his ankle last season, doesn't give me any more confidence about his speed either. Simpson has played only 2 years, but both were at FS and excelled at the position. Jimmy Williams and Michael Huff on the other hand, split time at CB and that means they want CB money.

I'd be really happy with something like this...

1. Manny Lawon/Ko Simpson in a trade down
2. Spencer Havner/Marcus McNeil
3. Andrew Whitworth/Kamerion Wimbley
4. BPA
5. BPA
6. BPA
7. BPA

I reserve the right to change this after the combine....of course. :p:

I dont think he will be there at #18, but I like Michael Huff quite a bit.

I think Parcells will take a LB with our first pick, whether that's at 18 or somewhere else, I feel he'll do his very best to pick a LB and he'll state that he did it because of Dat's retirement, etc.. Frankly though, I think he'll just want a LB and Dat's retirement will be a convenient reason to use.

What about the fact that we need Lbs Bad!!

I would rather have Winston Justice in the first and Kai Parham in the 2nd. Parham can play either linebacker spot and he has good speed. Dallas can not get a tackle with Winston's talent in the 2nd and Parham is just as fast and big as Lawson.

Bobby Carpenter is comming of a knee injury.

KO SImpson only played 2 years of College Ball.

Marcus McNiel has a simuliar neck condition that retired Michael Irvin.

Carpenter broke his ankle. That doesn't equal knee injury.

Site your sources on McNiels neck "condition".

If you look on NFLdraftcowntown, it states that McNeil has some neck concerns. It is not very specific though.

Either Carpenter or Greenway. If they are both gone you go with Taitusi Lutui.
