He had approximately 20 yards on 11 carries. I like Zeke as much as the next guy, but he is often pointed to as the main reason this offense is insanely good. He absolutely contributes to the offense being good, but it is telling that we can put up 42 points even though he only accounted for ONE long run and many 1 and 2 yard runs. This isn't meant to minimize his efforts. Again, he is AWESOME. But, the other guys deserve a LOT if not more credit.

I think last night was just a great all around offensive effort and showed what we can do with Dez fully involved. For what it's worth I think if we hadn't rested Zeke and he'd gotten his usual 20+ touches, we would have dropped 50+ last night.

watch the game replay,the Lions had Ngata and Robinson up front but still put 8-9 in the box every first down.They had a sound game plan on stopping Zeke but they dont have the pas rush or the secondary to stop Dak.

I dont agree with this point,the Lions were rightfully scared of Zeke and their entire gameplan was to stop Zeke .

His point fails to show a true understanding of what Zeke brings to this offense.
It isn't just about stats...what Zeke brings that other backs don't bring is the fear the defenses have and the commitment they give to stopping the run. You won't see another team who is more effective in play action than we are...this is because defenses are so afraid of Zeke...

It's not the extra half a yard per carry that matters...it's the impact a force like Zeke has on the defensive game plan and scheme that matters.

Because the defense was trying to stop him... which makes the defense put more players in the box, which opens up the passing. Elliot is everything people are saying...

Football is a game a strategy... that strategy is set up over a period of time...

LONG before teams play Dallas, they set up their gameplan in respect to players...

He was the most impactful player on the field.

Dak's been a very important contributor to 13-2. So have a number of others.
