Because first off, Dak is not my favorite player, and secondly, if this were Romo QBing, we wouldn't hear the end of how wonderful Romo's been. That's why
and wouldn't it have been pretty damn good if we were still 13-2?

geez people let personal preference guide visions of reality far too often.

yet from your previous post:

"if this were Romo QBing, we wouldn't hear the end of how wonderful Romo's been. That's why"

you keep using that word. yet you seem to make it mean what you need it to mean at the time, not what it means regardless of your need..."

Are you up to explaining why we're 13-2 with a new QB, yet Buffalo, San Francisco and Tennessee can't make the playoffs and they have strong running attacks?

I believe I gave Dak all kinds of props when I said Dallas would have gone no worse than 10-6 last season had he been Romo's backup. Without the RB, no quarterback has Dallas at 13-2 this season.

I've said all along that Dak's been phenomenal. It's no coincidence, however, that his worst games this season were games where the opposing defense shut down Zeke. Team's are going to focus on Zeke, which only makes Dak's job easier.

I'm still waiting for you to explain those other teams failures to make the post season, vs us with DAK.

I didn't realize Dak played all 22 positions. There are a lot about of other payers that factor heavily into Dallas being in the postseason. Simply put, If those "other teams" had:

A TE equivalent to Witten...
A not just great, but superior, back like Zeke...
THREE pro bowl linemen like Tyron, Fred, and Zak...
A shifty slot receiver like Beasley...

They'd be the n the playoffs, just like Dallas. Some teams may have one or two of those "ingredients", but NOBODY has all of that supporting their rookie QB. Dallas does...and there's your answer.

I'm not sure why you're being so argumentative here. I'm not denying Dak any credit here. He's clearly been one of the best QBs in football this year, and quite possibly the best rookie QB in NFL history. Nonetheless, the fact remains that when Zeke has been bottled up, Dak has struggled.

Those teams aren't as good as we, yet we were 4-12 last year. You bring in Dak, now we're 13-2. The season would have been unreachable had we had any other QB in here. The fact is, Dak is this year's MVP, not Zeke. Dak has the ball 75% of the time. When he loses a game, it's on him as well as it's always been. When Romo used to win, it was on him, and vice versa. This is how we grade QBs otherwise, any QB could do it. You put his stats up against any person in the NFL, he's right up there with the greats. The only reason he's not at the very very top is , 1, he's a rookie. 2, he's had a string of games against the best defenses in the league. 3, he didn't put up ungodly TD numbers. Had he put the ball in the End Zone more, his numbers would be tops in the league.
Zeke, has been incredible. None more than Murray in 2014 which didn't help him become MVP or win a championship. It takes a smart QB to win a Super Bowl. Now if Zeke were putting up plus 2k yards, by all means, this year would be on him. But we've seen guys with monster RB numbers throughout the years go on to do nothing. I hate to tell you this, this is a QBs league.

there isn't much to explain. you give me an "if" scenario as "if" it's fact and then when i "if" back at you you point blank said you don't deal in "IF's".

even though you just did when it worked in your benefit.

all i need to know really.

have a day.

how come you can say IF when it suits your needs but no one else can when it suits theirs?

IF, Romo were playing, it would be all about him. That's fact. Another fact is, this season is the way it is because of Dak Prescott, another fact. You need more facts, I'm your guy.

Dallas has used play action probably close to double how many times Romo used it in 2014 when Linehan started scoring.. and 2014 it was mainly for big plays..

Our passing game now runs primarily through Zeke.. bootlegs, short crossing routes.. through the seams.. and so on..
