Yea we got beat by Green Bay and went one and done, but at least we didn't lose like that. Blowing a 25 point lead in the SuperBowl would be about as soul crushing a defeat as there could be.

I seriously would rather lose by 50 points than to lose like they did.............wow, biggest choke job in the history of sports. 10 points was the biggest lead ever overcome before in the SB in half a century until last night.

Dam, talk about having your soul ripped out if you are a Falcons fan today when you know they were all celebrating like it was over when it was 28-3............feel bad for them, I would probably have broken half the stuff in my house if that was Dallas last night.........LOL

i said something similar to my wife yesterday. I would've rather went down swinging in a divisional round than make it to the superbowl and choke like the falcons did. That was just awful

The Falcons are going to be forever remember as the team that blew the largest lead ever in the SB. That would be like being up 10-0 in the 6th inning of game 7 of the World Series and you blow it.............just soul crushing.

I'm sure the Patriots cheated somehow. I'm trying to figure out how.

The 'what if's' killed us after GB. What if we ran Zeke on the third and shorts? What if holding is called on the play Rodgers threw at the end? What if we don't spike the ball to stop the clock?

The what if of 'why didn't they just run it twice and kick a fg' would be 100x worse. I'd never want to feel that way. The game was in the bag, I'd hate to he a Niners fan getting this OC.

I'd rather make it and lose than lose in the Divisional Round.

Yes, losing the Super Bowl in this fashion would be gutwrenching, but the euphoria of winning the NFC title game would make up for a lot of that hurt.

What's eerily similar is that Atlanta's OC Shanahan called 3-4 stupid plays that likely lost the game for the Falcons, just as our OC did against Green Bay. And both situations involved pass plays that should have been run plays.

They got to the SB and we didn't come close so it's pointless taking shots at the Falcons when they gave themselves at least a chance to win a championship by getting to the dance. Who the hell wants to be us, a team that went 13-3, then proceeded to go one and done at HOME in the playoffs for the second time in 10 years?
