When will people understand that it is literally impossible to trade Tony Romo right now? Trading Romo would cost the Cowboys somewhere in the neighborhood of a $33 million cap hit. So, any article/podcast/whatever you see about trading Tony Romo can be considered lazy and stupid. So all of you discussing what you would want in a trade for Romo should do some homework.

Good gravy people.

You are 100% correct.

Did anyone read the OP? It said, "The NFL-operated Around the League Podcast discussed the notion of trading Tony Romo..."

Come on people. The OP's a joke. The reply was a joke. Can I get a ha ha?

I chuckled pretty good...

I think people who even bring up trading Romo should be banned, they are breaking the forum rules according to the new announcement.

I think context is important concerning a subject such as this and it truly looks like the OP was simply drumming up a discussion rather than spewing some Romo hate in this instance.

Discussion is what this board is all about.

If the trade also includes swapping with the other teams defense/coaching staff, then I'm all for it. If not, then we're still going to be the same mediocre team, Romo or not.

This garbage again? Romo isn't going anywhere. Trading him would be beyond stupid.

Idk, wasn't McNabb traded for a 2nd Rounder a few years back? I'd take that, but it's virtually impossible to eat that accelerated cap hit.

Lol to thinking you're getting multiple 1sts for romo.

Romo is certainly underappreciated among the unwashed masses,,, Jerry, on the other hand, overvalues Romo's arm and ability to be the giant fig leaf that can hide his GM embarrassment.

A Romo and Jerry bash in the same post....nice.

Although I agree that Romo shouldn't be traded and quite honestly it would be detrimental to the team to trade him, banning someone for bringing it up as a discussion topic is asinine.

I get your point but he can take all that about being unappreciated & play golf for the rest of his life the second he's done playing.

I would not care about being unappreciated with all the money. He & Jason & Jerry can still triple date. :p

The NFL-operated Around the League Podcast discussed the notion of trading Tony Romo, in response to Jerry Jones' comments that you don't rebuild with him on the roster. They mentioned the Rams and Cardinals as the two most likely bidders if Romo was to be put on the market, proclaiming the Cardinals a favorite in the NFC with Romo under center. What would it take for you to pull the trigger and trade Romo?

I thought after we restructured Romo he was virtually untradeable for the next 4 years?!

I doubt Romo will ever play golf as good as he once did.

Straight up 2nd pick for Romo, I'd do it in a heartbeat. Jerry would too. He would get his prize Manziel be damned how many dates Romo and Garrett go on. Jerry wants Manziel.

Honestly I feel Jerry really does want Manziel. I'm afraid he's going to fall to #16 and we will have more drama than ever before. Bright side is Drake would be playing the Thanksgiving half-time show.

I have never played but I know the skill involved & I know he is/was a very good golfer. I hope he can & this is merely my opinion & nothing else but Romo seems like one of those guys that doesn't care much about what the fans think.
