Not Romo's age, but I would want too just trade him so people can really see what he brings too this team, people want him gone well they'll be the first ones too whine when we have too go through idk how many Qbs looking for a replacement, Go Cowboys!!!! Romo is the best thing too happen too this team when they decided too sit Bledsoe, not even Bledsoe an ex number 1 pick as washed up as he was was able too change this team.

I don't think so. It's not that Romo isn't one of the top quarterbacks. He is.
It's that many of us jus don't feel he's going to lead us to a Super Bowl.
That's not just his fault. But it's based on what he has done so far.
He had a better, younger team in 2007 and couldn't get it done.
Now, he's older and doesn't have as good a team as he did in 2007.
I just don't see him accomplishing much in Dallas. But he's still performing at an elite level.
So if the question is whether we continue with Romo for three more years and barely make the playoffs and get dumped or trade him while he has value, I say trade him while he has value.
Whether Jerry Jones wants to admit it or not, the Cowboys are in rebuilding mode.
Romo is going to squander his talents here and get older in the process.
Might as well get value for him now. If you can, that is.

The point is all this board that hates on Romo will finally understand

Understand what ? Romo is who he is an average qb that flashes brillance at times. JJ chose to put all his eggs in one basket forcing this franchise and fans to depend on Romo for some kind of success. This team has never look for a quality qb in the draft since Troy left. Romo is our only chance because he is the only person we are giving a chance to.

Did you see the part about 41M in dead money to trade Romo?

About the Manziel falling to 16. I don't see that happening at all. After that pro day, and what he did to top competition, teams will probably be afraid to pass on him. I think teams may be thinking, he's not the prototype, but if we pass on him and he becomes special, my GM'ing job could be in jeopardy, unless you're GM Jerry Jones.

You mean, other than the previous 17 years of failure? Where have the glory years been with Romo?

Any team offered a trade would suspect Romo's injury is worse than reported. Would not get much for him.

Would you be all for getting a dropping qb at 16? And trade Romo and rebuild now? I doubt even if that happen Jerry will admit they're in rebuilding mode especially with Jason's last year on contract. I understand why people want him out of here, I think the percentage is low of that happening unless Jerry's friend, Johnny Football drops.

What happen too the chances they gave too the 100 Qbs tried between Troy and Tony?

This teams can easily be worse without Tony 2-5 win teams, only positive thing would be not waiting around on draft day and selecting pretty quick.

Draft picks are so overrated. Many would have made the same trade for Claiborne in a heartbeat..

lemme splain: You are right, draft picks can be overrated, unless you have specific personnel in mind for that draft pick. Take the Andrew Luck acquisition. Would you call the draft pick that pulled him overrated?

The 100 Nfl rejects? The only qb we tried that had any hope was Drew Bledsole. The rest of those guys were NFL cast offs, failures, and experiments. It would be a different tune if this team invested first round picks on qbs but we didnt. Those 100 guys do not count, only 2 legit moves by JJ, Bledsole and Quincy. But JJ drafted the wrong guy the year he went after Quincy.

Well yeah those guys were never nfl caliber players, sucks too see the highlights where Emmitt breaks the record and it's Drew Henson handing off, think we draft a qb high? Or we are going with the same thing as before trying it out with Weeden?
