The Brady suspension...the making of him into some kind of martyr. Then this sudden unbelievable comeback for his 5th ring...the complete collapse of Atlanta's D and all of a sudden the Patriots D playing like the 85 Bears.

With the magnitude of this game this comeback by Brady tops any in Joe Montana's career. Brady has solidified himself as the undisputed greatest QB in NFL history after this performance.

Who made the juggle catch that kept them alive? Wasn't Tom. Next you'll be saying Eli willed his team to 2 wins lol

good point , edelman made a great play catching that, and it was a game winning catch, those are the things players need to do in big games.

yeah haley it was, it went from the biggest dud ever, to being a classic comeback and finish, and first OT SB ever.
I said turn out the lights, after the muffed onside kick, lol but then NE stops atlanta, and goes on a drive, and I still thought they couldnt win.
I am goint to rewatch it lol.

I just hate when they overlook the team accomplishment and only point to a QB. Without that ridiculous edelman catch, they wouldnt have scored and thus lost. IMO Edelman was better than brady that game. How many times did tom overthrow him? But in the end edelman came up big off a crappy brady throw.

lol it wasnt staged, NE players are evidently conditioned better, as atlanta ran out of gas, 93 plays 63 passes 40 min top for NE just wore
out the Atlanta defense, which was based on speed and running all over the place.
Atlanta had 46 plays total so not so tiring for NE defense.

The Patriot blueprint is Tom Brady. Kind of hard to emulate. Just get the goat QB and surround him with pretty good talent, and you will win 1 in 3 years as long as he plays.

I guess I'm saying the Pats don't really have a blueprint, they have the best player ever to lace them up, and a great coach. That model is not reproducible, which they'll find out as soon as Brady and Belichick leave, if they ever do.

In the salary cap era every team kinda sucks, so one great QB and a great coach can carry an entire team.

And the reason the Patriots are champs and we were 1 and done, the Patriots rallied, tied the game on a 2 point conversion, their D didn't sit back, they applied pressure on Ryan, us a very similar scenario against GB we just sit back and let GB march into field goal range...hopefully our coaches were paying attention.

Brady gave him a chance to make that catch just like Eli avoided a sack to give Tyree a chance. Brady passed for a SB record 466 yards and is the reason NE came back to win and why the Pats are the greatest dynasty in NFL history.

Brady got the ball off and the rest was luck. That one play didn't win the game for them. If you don't like Brady that's fine but the guy deserves some major props for being able to overcome a 25 point deficit in a SB. He's the reason the Pats won that game and the reason they've won 5 championships and are the greatest dynasty in NFL history.

LOL Prior to having Brady as his QB Belichick had 5 losing seasons in 6 years as a HC with only one playoff win. He had already been fired once and was on the hot seat entering his second season in NE after going 5-11 the previous season with Bledsoe. He was off to an 0-2 start with Bledsoe in 2001 until he got injured and Brady took over and the rest is history! Belichick was just another HC until Brady became his QB. Tom Brady made Bill Belichick, he's the one making the plays on the field.

No matter how many players Belichick has released or traded over the years the Pats keep winning because the one and ONLY player who's still around from the 2001 season is Tom Brady. There's no player in the history of the game that's impacted a franchise like Brady has impacted the Patriots. If they had a fantasy draft where you could pick any player in the history of the game to start your franchise with, Brady's name would come up more times than anyone else's. Your dislike for Brady couldn't be more obvious.
