i am absolutely more sick of Jerry Jones than ever before. 8 SBs and he's allowing teams to catch up to us. All because he decided to train his 'red headed wonder boy' while he had a legitimate shot to win SBs.

The fact that they had the HOF ceremony tonight to with him there, makes it even worse..

I think upstairs reviews all scoring plays, then determines if it's to be reviewed, obviously upstairs decided there was no reason to review. The TD was good...Brady's just the greatest ever.

Matt's a vet, and should've taken control of the offense in the second half. No way a vet like Tony would allow a team to come back on us like that.

Love Romo, but I can think of no less than 2 times he did exactly that: abandoned the run in favor of throwing the football in games with big leads:

I agree. I liked seeing the Patriots get whooped in the beginning but I started rooting for them in the end. Rooting against teams like the Patriots and Steelers is just jealously and it's a pathetic trait for a team and fanbase that considers itself the best in football. These teams have a winning system and are a step ahead of the curve, especially the Patriots. We're far from that. We're a 13-3 team that gets routed in the first game of the playoffs, and it wasn't a shocker when it happened. I know there's loyalty in our veins but we're kidding ourselves if we think we're winners. This team needs a serious refranchising if it wants to see constant success like the Patriots. Our best hope is to luck out and steal one Super Bowl.

This lead to the Falcons being backed up on their drives instead of starting at the cushy 25. They did kick it 2 yards deep in the end zone on the last kick, but the Pats stuffed it the same way they had done the short kicks.

Brady will get all the credit but this might be Belichick best coaching job!

Romo had no say in game planning then. Garrett abandoned it. That's why he was eventually demoted.

The year Romo was involved with Linehan was 2014 and they never abandoned the run.

His half-time adjustments are the best in the game and Brady is a product of that too. Against the Ravens, it was the 'ineligible-eligible' play that saved the Patriots two years back. Their defenses always come out at the half stifling opponents.

Did you see him taking notes in the first half when they were getting beat?

All playoffs I was wondering when would they show up

You know, the Falcons team that lost the 2012 Title game that was seemingly theirs.

You know, the Falcons team with the Romo like QB.

I kept sitting back waiting for the Falcons team that lost at Seattle. Lost at Philly. Lost to the dreadful San Diego Chargers at their crib.

I was waiting for the team that had pretty much lost to every good to respectable team they've played this season to show up.

At 28-3 , I thought maybe the Falcons are the real deal. Maybe they have indeed turned the corner from shaky and soft to tough and strong willed.

Then they recovered an on side kick and then Matty ,'went cold as ice '(skipism)

Failing to feel the heat that any veteran should from a blindside rush, the sack/fumble recovery was the turning point in this game, and it's where I started to see traces of who I thought these Falcons were start to appear.

Unreal. Watched with 9 Pats fans. Couldn't be more jealous of the celebration and pure bliss they felt after the game. Really really hope I will be able to know what that is like sometime in the near future.

i noticed both the notes, and the short kicks, the one after they tied the game with 57 seconds, was similar to dallas gb game, the kick had to be
ran out and it took 5 seconds off the clock, had we done that GB might have ran out of time.

One thing I would like to know is...why wasn't the last TD reviewed? Usually every score is reviewed...play is stopped.... sent upstairs....the call is made. Referee announces the call on the field. Instead you got nothing... as if someone stole an election and didn't want the ballots to be counted. The whole thing felt like a great setup and robbery.

Pretty sure it was reviewed. I would imagine there was no official announcement because it would be next to impossible to announce anything with the mayhem on the field, and if it isn't going to change the outcome you may as well not even try. While it looked like it was a score to me, with such an obscured viewed and with how close the play was there wasn't any way they could overturn the call. Had it been a regular season game the process probably would have played out in traditional fashion but with the immediate chaos there wasn't a chance to have that happen. Hundreds of people aren't normally on the field immediately after a final score like that.

The only way you could get an announcement on a play like that in the Superbowl is if the NFL instituted a specific rule for game-ending TDs in overtime. Field officials could be instructed to withhold signaling for a touchdown at the conclusion of the play. The field official would then provide his ruling to the head referee who comes on the mic, notifies the crowd that the play is being reviewed, but it has unofficially been ruled as [insert outcome].

There was a penalty from the previously play that was assessed on the last kickoff. They kicked it from the 40 so it was indeed a higher and shorter kick than normal.
