I dont follow the Falcons closely at all but I remember looking at thier defensive numbers nearing the end of the season and they were pretty damn bad. I guess they stepped up in the end. I know Beasley was a monster but all in all its not suprising Brady shredded them. I cant imagine the agony the Atlanta faithful are in right now.
Atlanta let off the gas peddle They did it versus.Rodgers and did not here.

Everyone is an armchair coach and knows better than the coaches and can make better decisions than the players....so silly. If Atlanta had run the ball more and not converted, same thing may have happened. Then you'd all be saying that you don't take your foot off the throttle and they lost because they went conservative. I've heard it both ways against the Cowboys. Any close game that's lost, it has to be the coach and players gave it away. Atlanta kept doing what they did that gave them the lead; it all went right for Atlanta in the first half, and it all went NE's way in second half. The best team won. Look at the time of possession--40:31 to 23:27. Yards---546 to 344. Plays---93-46. NE dominated this game, all game long. In the end, the score went for the best team, and Atlanta was way ahead incredibly without really doing much.

We are all quite capable GMs and coaches, there are even some players here too. We just happened to choose other professions. I personally didn't want to spoil from the money and was looking for a more humble lifestyle.

Yep. And people still keep saying next year is our year. Some people aren't winners. Look at Matt Ryan. There's something off about us. Not quite sure who or what, but we need to fix it if we ever expect to win again.

I won't say it, but we are about to fix what has been off very soon.

Not sure how accurate this is but someone posted on a falcons forum "Atlanta had 46 plays to NE 96." if that is true no wonder they were worn out at the end.

Kraft treats Goodell like a dog but his team still gets preferential treatment from the refs.

Jerry always takes the high road but is always getting shafted by the refs and the league.

Frustrating....something has to change.

I totally agree. But nothing will change.

DUUUUUUUDE...no. Falcons dominated the first half all the way, stats be damned. Scoreboard indicated as much. They had it won a couple times in the second half and Shanahan gave it away by trying to be cute and letting "Matty Ice" sling it around. Cost him dearly. Colossal choke job.

The Cowboys need to relocate to NYC
The NFL loves the Pats and the Giants because it's a huge audience that wouldn't care about football or the NFL otherwise

I've been joking with the tinfoil hat crowd but at some point this stupid nonsense needs called out.

So you seriously believe the Falcons participated in a charade to blow a 25 point second half lead to create a storyline? Guys who have spent their entire lives to get to this game agreed to give it away? Really?

No evidence? No kidding. Seriously, just stop. All of you. You look ridiculous.

I don't know if it's a charade but teams don't just blow 25 point leads like that. It was like 2 different games at one point. Atlanta did everything wrong to end that game.

I tuned off early in the 3rd quarter. Changed it back when it was 5 minutes to go in 4th.

What the heck happened. Greatest comeback or biggest choke job o_O

How do you bounce back from this?

Probably don't. Which would be great for us, because they are the only other team in the NFC who has more talent than we do. They are DAMN good, but have to be mentally damaged moving forward. OR....they'll man up and come back and lay waste next season. I'd bet on the former, not the latter.

go ask an atlanta player right freaking now if they threw the game and please post the video of you getting your *** beat

I'm not saying they threw it. Just strange is all. Money forces things we 99.99% can't imagine.
