Here's Dan Reeves on KTBB.com talking about team chemistry with David Smoak...

Reeves talks about chemistry, coaching and the Cowboys

People will criticize Reeves as a coach because he's lost four Super Bowls(three with Denver and one with Atlanta), but that's not really fair. It's not easy getting a team to the Super Bowl ya know.

Would I want him coaching the Cowboys? No, I think he's been away from the game as a head coach for too long now after taking five years off.

I do wonder if he would get another shot at some point though because he's letting people that he's interested in being a head coach again and he does have 190 career wins and 11 playoff wins on his resume.

I think Reeves did his best job in 1998 with the Falcons and it was shame he lost to his former QB John Elway and the Broncos.

What's it going to be then, eh?

No it is not easy. And were it not that I'd fear the poor fellow suffering a coronary dealing with our undisciplined group of players, I'd take him as our head coach tomorrow.

He might need to call up his dear friend Wade and share a few pointers about how to manage an entire team, not just coordinate a defense.

Wade did say he was going to contact guys like Reeves and Levy to get some tips this offseason on how to change some things up.

Great Wade, let's get advice from two guys a combined 0-8 in Super Bowls

Sad to say, it would probably help him and the team

It's better than getting advice from a guy who is 0-5 in the playoffs.

And that guy is himself.

Good for him. Armed with that advice and his impeding frowny faces of doom, he might actually win his first playoff game.

I thought they might hire him when they hired WADE. I think he did a really good job with the Giants, as well. He just had the misfortune of coaching the Giants at a time when we were kickin' their #@)(#*#$)@*) all over the league.

I hear ya bro.

I am done with Wade. But seeing as Jerry isn't we all have to deal with it.

Now I said up above I didn't want Reeves as the new head coach, but if I had to choose between him and Wade I would go with Reeves in a NY minute.

lol

Your judging levy and reeves on lost super bowls.

Confused much?

Marv levy and Dan reeves are light years better than the sorry head coach we have. He coached under them, but he certainly didnt learn anything from them.

From listening to this, it seems to me that Reeves coming in will be contingent on Owens leaving.

I certainly hope that's the case.

The AFC was the NFC's punching bag when Reeves was in Denver. He's no different than any other coach or players who tried to beat em and failed.

I'm not rational because I'm still bitter at how quickly this team has fallen apart and the pathetic attempt they made at Philly. I'm getting more furious every day at Jerry Jones and the chaos he fosters at the ranch. I would welcome Reeves over Cupcake any day, but I'm sure Jones would just find a way to pull the rug out from under him

I was going to find this and bring it up.

Good look fisher.

I wonder if Reeves is coming in as a backup plan for Wade should he have a rough start to the 2009 season.
