So why don't the majorty of people hate Peyton Manning.

Ben Roethlisberger.

Lebron James.

Derek Jeter.

Jason Witten.

It's not about always being in front of a mic.

It's about the words that are coming out of their mouths.

Because, obviously, those guys "get it" and never say anything that could even be misconstrued. Most guys aren't as smart as the guys you mentioned, and when you constantly put a mike in front of them, they are going to eventually say something wrong.

But even they can mess up. IMO Roethlisberger made a huge gaffe in disparaging Romo's girlfriend and lifestyle before our game, but he's a Steeler, so it was okay. Did you see the Santonio Holmes story today? No way that's handled the same way if he's a Cowboy.

Ok, I agree that they get it.

And on that note this team needs to shut the guys up that don't get it.

It may take 14 years to do so, lol.

And the Santonio Holmes story is him admitting an error while he was a kid and then telling kids not to make the same mistake as him.

How is that a bad thing?

It's not a bad thing in and of itself, but it was just a few months ago that he got busted with blunts in his car, so I don't think this is some lifestyle he left for good when he was just a young kid.

Let's just say that if he were a Cowboy, I doubt that would have blown over the way it did. I heard more about Mike Irvin's pipe incident than I did Holmes', and Mike hasn't even been in the league for 10 years now.
