There probably are not too many head coaches out there who do not know football.

I have said over and over and over. Coaches do not get fired because they themselves make mistakes on the field. Coaches coach and do not play. Interesting concept I know.

It is ALWAYS the players who fail to execute. The coaches job is to get the players to execute.

When players consistently fail to execute, coach gets fired.

Exactly ...... I wish Parcells was the same fiery guy he was years ago .....

I love Parcells and will support him 100% if he comes back ....

But to say that these breakdowns are not his responsibilty is crazy.

I was talking about how he "blamed" Bledsoe or Watkins earlier in the year . ....... If he thought it was a Players fault .... he replaces them ....

blaming someone is not the same as benching them. Parcells has never blamed anyone in the typical sense of the word

Either because he did not prepare them .... or he picked the wrong players.

Thats his job to find them ..... he has overseen 4 drafts and 4 offseasons of free agency. I think the players are fine and its our non aggresive scheme thats hurting us .... but you can continue to blame the players if it makes you feel better.

You cannot win this argument ..... If the Team fails its the Coaches responsibility.

I was talking about in teaching them ..... If he is teaching them and they continue to fail he is not doing his job ....

I not once said the coach didnt deserve any blame not one single time, I agreed with the OP that the coach was not the ONLY one to blame, the players deserve blame as well, you are the one that disagreed with this simple premise
