Bad Coach/Good Coach

With a young new Coach I would give them alot of slack to build confidence.

With a Hall of Fame coach I think you know what they have left after at the most 5 years ......

Parcells has a 3 year rule with his players ..... Why is he not held to the same accountability?

for the same reason "you are what you are" doesn't apply to parcells.

I not once said the coach didnt deserve any blame not one single time, I agreed with the OP that the coach was not the ONLY one to blame, the players deserve blame as well, you are the one that disagreed with this simple premise

And I did not say that the players are blameless only that its Parcells job to blame them .....

He will do that by replacing them or training them better ..... after that its his fault.

Thats his job to find them ..... he has overseen 4 drafts and 4 offseasons of free agency.

He has replace an entire roster in 4 years, yet we are talking about THIS season who should he have replaced these guys with the final few weeks of the season you still havent answered this

I think the players are fine and its our non aggresive scheme thats hurting us .... but you can continue to blame the players if it makes you feel better.

two posts ago you said you werent blaaming only the coach and now you are saying this? So we cant blame the players yet its not all the coaches fault?

You cannot win this argument ..... If the Team fails its the Coaches responsibility.

I was talking about in teaching them ..... If he is teaching them and they continue to fail he is not doing his job ....

But you can read whatever you like into that ok ?

I think our conservative game plains and non adjustments at half time are what killed us.

The buck stops with Parcells ...... if he has not made a change then I have to assume I am right and its the planning and preparation thats the problem.

as far as why they didnt do that here, they are suited for a 43 defense we play 34 takes a different kind of LB
