As far as U2 goes, The Joshua Tree was an amazing album, really one of the best of its era... Rattle and Hum was fine... and everything since then has been UN-LISTENABLE.

U2 is definitely overrated, but it's hard to quarrel with Joshua Tree being an all-time great album.

Agreed. The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars is just absolute greatness. There was really something special with Bowie and Ronson during that time. If anyone gets a chance I highly suggest they find the live version of Moonage Daydream to see what I mean.

You know, when I hear a Neil Young song, I wish someone else were singing and playing guitar. I like the songs, but he's sloppy and lousy at singning.

I'll probably get roasted for this but I can't stand Willie Nelson's singing. I think it has more to do with the nasal voice than anything.

Willie has gotten to the age now that he doesn't even sing anymore. He just talks with music.

Hard to argue opinion, but for me, Neil Young is an immortal. After The Goldrush, Harvest, Tonight's The Night, On The Beach, Rust Never Sleeps, Freedom and Everybody Knows This Nowhere are all classic albums.

I've always loved the songs "cowboy in the Sand" and "Down by the River".
