I said he had a couple but when he did them we needed them like in the playoffs (which led to you know what.) but still he had a couple if big runs. Plus he had a 1000 yard season.

I think Jones has to show himself week in and week out and that is what we are not getting from him. He will have a few good games but he is a starting RB and we need more from that position. I'm pulling for him but I'm not going to be blind to the fact that he has been a non factor in way too many games

I know I shoudn't but I still picture him his rookie year with those 300 yard games he just excited me back then.

How could he have POSSIBLY done well in the playoff game if Parcells ruined him?

And are you afraid of your boy having to compete for the job? Let 'em compete... may the best man win.

It is ironic that once or twice a year Parcells would pull back on his ruination of players.

I wanted Henson to work out - do I blame Parcells for destroying his confidence, or whatever lame excuse people throw out there? Hardly. If he could play, and had the stuff needed, he'd still be on our team. As it is, he can't get a job elsewhere, and those hanging on to the ridiculous notion that Parcells is destroying these promising young players' careers are no better than the Q-lovers. Making excuses for palyers who simply do not perform.

Julius' struggles are his own fault, and his own inadequacy. He's an average back who is capable of breaking out every once in a great while. That isn't on Parcells. What, was Parcells just saying "we're palying Carolina....don't let me ruin you today"? Get real...

It is the spurts that Jones has shown that keeps him in the lineup as the starter but the name of the game is consistency, guys who can bring it week in and week out. I hope he can show that this season because I think time is running out on Jones and soon Dallas will have to determine if Jones is part of the future on this team or not.

it's true, but do we have to keep saying it? J Christ

At least until the "Parcells ruined (insert average player or player out of the league here)" crowd pipes down.

People get jobs in the NFL because of Parcells, not despite him. Julius has shown AMAZING flashes. That's probably the only reason we haven't moved on yet.
