LOL.

You think he deactivated himself.

Number 1, you dont know the severity of the injury.

Number 2, The training staff is holding him back.

LOL

I am sure this is what we will hear from other fans now too.

and also, I would be willing to bet The team knew this all week and they have prepared for it. They just didnt want to let pittsburgh know that.
yeah you're probably right. he would play but our crappy training staff is being extra cautious with him since they screwed up a few of our other players already. that totally sucks though.

his toe isn't broken. Iv'e played with tendonitis in both my ankles before yet this guy can't play because hiw wittle pinky toe hurts. I've lost respect for the so-called barbarian.

And What NFL Team you play for? That's what I thought!

Yeah but Pittsburgh is not going to respect our running game with Choice. Witten and Bennett will have to stay in for blocking almost the entire game. This is not going to be pretty.

Good, they don't respect the run, our huge O-line will run them over! We will be fine.

Especially since he played against philly and green bay with torn cartilage and was having a hard time breathing.

Obviously the injury he has is something no one could play on.

I think the field conditions and the weather forecast in Pitt played a factor in that decision making process. We still have three more games to play after this one and if he aggravates it we might lose him for an extended period of time.

Ask yourself what hurts worse broken ribs or a pinkie toe?

or

Emmitt playing and carrying the load with a dislocated shoulder. Barber should be playing through the pain.

Barber's toe must be really hurt, with this staff's diagnosis, I'm not suprised that it's worse than what was led on

because Brian Westbrook is playing with a hurt ankle and knee, but a toe that "isn't broken" is keeping Barber out...

When you dislocate something, the tendons get stretched and weakened.

and i supposed you did this on a wet, snowy mud pit of a field against the NFLs very best defense ....?

you my friend are a joke......as are all of you who turn on MBIII for missing his first game to injury since hes been here......

you need to think long term......no one runs on the Steelers ...NO ONE.....so they save MBIII for the games he can make a difference......Choice will get the necessary yards...and the TEs will help protect.....

cant hardly wait for Choice to have a good game then everyone will want him to replace Barber for being to fragile......

he played the philly game 6 days after tearing cartilage which was limiting his breathing.

And this guy never talks, who knows what kind of bumps and bruises he has played through.

Anyone who questions barber's toughness in this thread should have to have a dunce cap as the avatar for a whole year.

the excitement I had for this game is now gone. This team has so much to overcome just to get into the playoffs and now it just got a lot harder.

Nope-if this team doesn't make the playoffs, it's their own faults...even if 1/2 of the team was IR'd. NO excuse for having yet another poor Dec run...NONE.

Here is a tip.

I would almost bet my house that the team expected this. Jerry said on both his shows this week that barber would play but not practice. I am willing to bet he did that so pittsburgh would prepare for him all week.

Jason Garrett has done very well against the best defensive coordinators in the league the first time we have played them. Now barber is a key cog, but the running game is just going to be a mechanical thing tomorrow anyway.

TO me, I am even more anxious for this game to get here now.
The confidence and belief this team will have if they win this game without barber would be unmeasureable.

And romo has been made to eat alot of crap this year, IF he puts this team in the playoffs this month he is really going to stick it to them. And I think this team is up for it.
