Is anyone really surprised at the "soft" comments? Surely we all remember this side splitter of a thread.

yeah you're probably right. he would play but our crappy training staff is being extra cautious with him since they screwed up a few of our other players already. that totally sucks though.theebs;2464126 said:LOL.
You think he deactivated himself.
Number 1, you dont know the severity of the injury.
Number 2, The training staff is holding him back.
LOL
I am sure this is what we will hear from other fans now too.
and also, I would be willing to bet The team knew this all week and they have prepared for it. They just didnt want to let pittsburgh know that.

TheSport78;2464121 said:Yeah but Pittsburgh is not going to respect our running game with Choice. Witten and Bennett will have to stay in for blocking almost the entire game. This is not going to be pretty.

juckie;2464122 said:must be something more.this staff sucks.
theebs;2464136 said:Especially since he played against philly and green bay with torn cartilage and was having a hard time breathing.
Obviously the injury he has is something no one could play on.

Bob Sacamano;2464123 said:Barber's toe must be really hurt, with this staff's diagnosis, I'm not suprised that it's worse than what was led on
because Brian Westbrook is playing with a hurt ankle and knee, but a toe that "isn't broken" is keeping Barber out...

or
Emmitt playing and carrying the load with a dislocated shoulder. Barber should be playing through the pain.

You'd think with this thread, that all these stupid "tough it out wuss" remarks would disappear.bbgun;2464150 said:
hey Tuna, Theebs had a good point. if it was up to Barber to play he would. Our trainers are probably keeping him out cause they screwed up with other players this year(Roy,Kosier,Felix).tunahelper;2464162 said:Hey Maria Barber is how tough guys do it:

you my friend are a joke......as are all of you who turn on MBIII for missing his first game to injury since hes been here......
you need to think long term......no one runs on the Steelers ...NO ONE.....so they save MBIII for the games he can make a difference......Choice will get the necessary yards...and the TEs will help protect.....
cant hardly wait for Choice to have a good game then everyone will want him to replace Barber for being to fragile......
