Goofy?

That was a real life experience and I am understand much better than you apperently what it takes to play through pain.

I dont think your goofy, for having frisbie golf participant as your sports career achievement?

You just cant understand men tolerating pain. No problem.

What year and round were you drafted into the NFL?

seriously, could you be any goofier?

In 1991, in almost a similar situation we had to travel to philly in december where we never won without aikman. It was a critical game and no one gave us a chance to win without aikman.

Never won in Philly without Aikman? Aikman had never beaten the eagles anywhere in 1991. In fact, the first game that Aikman won in Philly against the Eagles was in 1993 on Halloween.

this is actually good for us

they're not going to know how to defend Choice, which lane he's most likely to hit, what's the best way to get him down etc.

IIRC, I've also heard that had the team lost, Emmitt most certainly wouldn't have been able to play the next week. Yes, Emmitt was heroic, but he would've been no good the next week if they'd had to play. HFA allowed him to heal up enough to play after the BYE.

Good point. It was a tremendous gamble, and it was also the last regular season game of the year. Slightly different circumstances IMO, but Emmitt was heroic that day.

what?

Yes, I didnt intend for it to mean that aikman was 2-0 on in philly. Just that Our chances without him even though he had never won there were reduced. Unless you think they werent. We were finally a good team again but had that last hurdle to jump and we had to do it without troy.

and for what it is worth, I meant to say kelvin martin.

Would have been nice to have a healthy Barber for this game, but the Giants game is much more important. We can win this one without Barber hopefully.

his toe isn't broken. Iv'e played with tendonitis in both my ankles before yet this guy can't play because hiw wittle pinky toe hurts. I've lost respect for the so-called barbarian.

:laugh2:

I so love it when message board athletes compare their life experiences to those who play professional football.

What a downer, but like the great teams do, if one player goes down, another picks up the slack and dont miss a beat. Lets be great!

it's a freaking pinkie toe though. I'm starting to think it's something worse.

Plus, it will not be Marion Barber in the backfield. Now, those third down delayed running plays will really eat them alive.

The Steelers will not respect Choice, and they will pay, big time.

I can't believe Marion Barber's toughness is being questioned. Wow. If he could play, he would be out there. I sure wish he was playing, but Tashard Choice can get it done.

Yeah, it's called we need the NFC games more than the AFC game and this staff is notoriously conservative with injured players.

Stop acting like a Troll.
