Scott has been getting torched on Twitter/X. Parsons took offense to his comment.

He knows full well that Stephen Smith idea of "something will happen" was always meant in reference to something that was created by a franchise he perceived as flawed. He never meant it in terms of human tragedy.

The statements a made by Scott seem to indicate a deep trauma induced by the Dallas Cowboys. His psyche has been damaged by some unfortunate event. Did he bet his family home taking the Jets and the points?

..as this goes around. Eventually, it will make the head dept of ESPN.

Bart probably gone, by end of month.

You’re entitled to your opinion.
I don't know the guy... I defer to others. It seems 90% of the world is mad at Bart Scott now since I posted that.... so I guess there's something there I just didn't see.

If he was making light of the guy for losing this season...and probably effecting next year too, then he is a skumbag

If that dude (shannon Sharpe's partner) who made the offhand remark about Damar Hamlin nearly dying ...while his life was still in jeopardy....kept his job, I imagine Scott will too.

He should do what that Florida high school coach did the other day after getting caught on camera verbally abusing and threatening to beat up one of his high school players: suspend himself....(with pay), and then return to work a week later after doing some "soul searching" ( i.e. week at the beach)

if they fire him ill be shocked....

and as much as i dont like Bart it would be hypocritical for them to fire him and keep others

but with that being said...Bart Scott should be working construction

I’m not sure he was making fun or joking. It’s factually correct something always happens to the Cowboys. It’s a cursed team since Jimmy was forced out and the team that he built faded,

This guy Bart Scott has a deep hatred for the Dallas Cowboys. I used to think maybe during the different takes, it was his job to be the voice of reason since most times he may be the only one on the panel who played in the NFL. But I have found it doesn't matter if he's the only former player, or on with other former players, his opinion of Dallas always has a negative slant! Even when making picks now, or years ago when he was on CBS NFL Sunday, He would almost always pick against Dallas no matter who they were playing! This guy for whatever is a Cowboys hater plan and simple!

We all know that SAS and his Cowboys hate is all a joke, and playing around to get reactions out of fans. People tune in, so he goes with it. What I saw and heard in the interview is him clearly stating that it's all in fun, and joking around. Scott had his dumb founded face on him, and has still not back tracked. The brand SAS is just that, and he has admitted as much...Bart Simpson is just a clown

Kudos to the other two for immediately and vehemently disagreeing with him. You could see Scott’s face drop a little when they came out against him after he purposely tried to get them to jump onboard with his ‘it’s just like you always say’ crap. What a clown he is.

Why is it so many people hate us so much. Initially I thought it was just jealousy, we have a VERY good regular season record, but on the other hand our post season record has been pathetic for 27 years. Could it be we have been living rent free in these haters heads for 27 years? Could it be they forget how pathetic our post season record has been for almost 3 decades and only remember the 90s. I don't get it. Lay some hate on the Patriots, they won but cheated.

As hard as these men have to work to make an NFL lineup making light of any player’s injury is a terrible take.

I dont think Bart meant this as a joke as much as he just doesn't read a room very well, you can see the nervous on his face when the other 2 start shutting it down... not saying Bart is a good dude but maybe just socially dumb??

I really didn't see much wrong with the words spoken, but the smirk on his face said more than the words did.
I think people are misinterpreting his "smirk", if that's even what it was. At most, I think that was him being proud of himself for making the connection with SAS's catchphrase. I really don't think he intended to make fun of Diggs or the Cowboys.
