Batman v Superman - Exclusive Sneak [HD]

Not sure I get the scene. Superman is depicted as the ultimate villain. The Lex Luthor type who can't physically win a fight but does so with his cronies and intellect. Batman is supposedly capture by someone other than Superman - I guess because Superman needed the help - and then Superman takes the mask off as though he can just see through it in the first place.

Okay.

Okay.

Please allow for theatrical effect.

Ripping a fictional super hero movie teaser. Lol

Ok ok... Maybe the mask / cowl was laced with led?

Okay.

I thought it was obviously a dream sequence. Or more precisely Bruce Wayne's nightmare.

That's exactly what I thought too. Just like the scene of Captain America's broken shield in the Age of Ultron trailer.

That would make sense if the movie stays true to the Superman/Batman comic titles. I'm not 100% positive exactly when but I do know that Batman was lining his mask with lead to shield his identity from Superman's X-ray vision as far back as the late 1980's.

A guess on my part.

Knowing you... That confirms it for me ...

I'm guessing Sups used the black kryptonite, reason he's angry.
Or is it Red kryptonite.
Red=evil
Black=we might get Bizarro Supes?

http://dc.wikia.com/wiki/Kryptonite

When I started buying comics in the 70's, one of my biggest pet peeves about Superman's story was Kryptonite. The link above lists all its different forms. The entire concept for keeping Superman in check with all the various types of Kryptonite was maddening to me. Then DC published the (imo) legendary storyline Crisis of Infinite Earths in the mid-80's. After the Crisis, Superman was no longer godlike. He couldn't push planets around or easily break the time barrier or fly across the universe(s) or yada yada yada.

DC had finally depowered him by an enormous degree. One of added bonuses was the elimination of all forms of Kryptonite with the exception of the green version. I was giddy. I said to myself that DC finally put all the earlier wishy-washy generation stuff about Superman to bed. Little did I know they would gradually re-insert some of the old idiotic kryptonite nonsense, along with brand new rock stupidity, back into the post-Crisis Superman world. The whole thing made me wish DC would stop fooling around and just invent RAINBOW kryptonite and be done with it!

I don't know how obvious it is, but this is the speculation. Apparently someone put the pieces together based on a Batman vs Superman toy.

If so, pretty lame scene that seem like it was added specifically for a hype trailer.

It would be REALLY hard for this movie to be as bad as Man of Steel but that sneak peak makes me think it may just be. I may wait for the video after that crap.I really do not want to be that disappointed at a theater again.

Because Sups didn't save the world in Man of Steel. Doubt he is gonna save everyone in Batman/Superman either.
