Within Dak's career here are some stats from his games:

17 of 24 for 195 yards with 1 TD Dallas won

12 of 18 for 139 yards with 1 TD Dallas won

17 of 37 for 165 yards with 1 TD and 2 INT Dallas lost

13 of 18 for 183 yards with 2 TD's Dallas won

14 of 22 for 143 yards Dallas won

Funny how when Dak was doing what Rush is doing now his supporters were screaming "Dallas Won so stats don't matter!!!!" yet when Rush is doing something similar and winning Dak's supporters are screaming "We need Dak back for an effective passing game!!!!"

Hmmm how many games has Dak played? would you say his average game looks like this? let me guess you dont care about stats again.

Funny how Dak critics went after him because he did not put up better numbers yet seem to be content with it now. In the end winning is what matters be it Rush or Dak. No doubt I would to get Dak back in the lineup and yes I think it would be a big spark for this offense and this team

Those are examples from 2016 and 2017, the time when Dallas was winning with the same formula being used now for Rush and the same formula that should be used when Dak comes back.

Personally I could care who is leading the team so long as they are winning but apparently too many are upset that Rush is doing what Dak did in 2016.

Yep

If we can go to playoffs with Dak and an below average to bottom tier defense, the sky is the limit with this defense.

Dak trolls get prepared for our new Golden God in Micah Parsons to take #4 where you never thought possible. Lol

Exactly...just because i think Dak is better than Rush doesn't mean i think he is Mahomes...its not hard to grasp.

I can't speak for anyone else but I was fine with Dak in 2016 as I had grown tired of the Romo air show which led to stats and no success. Dak became what Romo was and that is why so many are getting behind Rush now. The fact is it's not about Rush per say as the QB but rather the system so many wanted to be run by the offense and when Dak helped Dallas see its most recent success.

why would I be upset winning. Just like any other team when dealing with injured starters I hope to get my starter back in the lineup. Right now offense is struggling and the 2016 Cowboys defense not near the talent or production we are seeing out of this group.

I didn't say you are upset with the winning but rather there are members on here that seem to be upset more about Rush helping Dallas to a 4-1 record instead of Dak. Most on here have more in common in their support for Dallas than differences but somehow the few seem to poke the many.

I mean, TB also didn't score much and Dak started that game and was looking poor and we took an L.
19 points, which is something our defense hasn't allowed since. and I am not dismissing the poor performance. I expected more. but we abandoned the run too early.

our offense is suspect to one thing, if the opposing teams front 4,5 can stop the run and keep it below 3 and force us to passing situation and subsequently drop 6,7 into coverage and effectively rush with 4, we are screwed. Tampa did that, none of the other teams had been able to that since. in fact Rams yesterday had to committ additional bodies to stop the run and we kept running against 7, 8 man fronts and getting 3,4 yards. my surprise was that we didn't take more shot down field with play action. probably because defense was playing so good, we didn't need to take chances. 10 points...the defense, special teams gifted us almost 10 points (if not for missed PAT). offense scored all of 13. not many games you are gifted 10 points and win when you only score 13.

I'm sorry but if you really think Rush is a better overall QB then be my guest, I'm not stupid to what I see. You point to Dak stats, yet leave out a hell of lot of quality starts. I have nothing against Rush he has done well, but right now this offense is not playing good ball and it will catch up to us.

You messed up that reply a little bit...But I get your point. On the other hand...our alleged #1 offense last year got bounced on our butts right quick.

So,,,,,,

This is what I am talking about: please show me where exactly I said Rush is better than Dak. The fact is I never said Rush is better than Dak but rather the current approach of relying on the running game with a stout defense is the formula for success, just like it was in 2016 when Dak was the QB. Romo was a stats heavy, air show QB that got hurt and Dak came in to be the game manager wherein he didn't push too much nor did he try to be more than what he was......and history is repeating itself now with Dak injured and Rush coming in.

Trust me Dak does not wanna come back this week he'd rather come back against the lowly lions and bears.
He talked a big game in pre season but then he walked out there against Tampa and craped the bed again
When he comes back hes going to be forced to throw the football and bad things will probably happen.

I think most agree that when Dak is healthy he should be QB and this scheme should be the scheme..we dont have the WR's to go air raid and the defense is good enough to play under center balanced football. KM is the one that needs to be convinced..

My only concern with Dak coming back is his ability to stay within the current system and not feel as though he needs to prove he can win the games for Dallas because right now there is nothing to prove as everyone agrees that the defense and running game is the reason Dallas is winning....hell, even Rush said the defense is the reason why.

They have never had a defense this good. They are making history.

"Ultimate respect for Cooper and always have, from his rookie year being my backup to obviously last year getting to play," Prescott said. "Proud of him."
