I didn't say you are upset with the winning but rather there are members on here that seem to be upset more about Rush helping Dallas to a 4-1 record instead of Dak. Most on here have more in common in their support for Dallas than differences but somehow the few seem to poke the many.

I haven’t seen any Cowboy fans upset we’re winning games Rush. They are upset the Dak Trolls are calling for Rush to take over.

If we have some fans who think Rush is a better QB and we should make him our franchise QB then they can wage that argument but I don’t want to hear it from the Trolls or chronic Prescott critics. . It doesn’t carry any weight.

And if we don’t go further with a QB who has taken us to playoffs without a great defense then we can move on.

But I see a defense that can carry most BusDrivers.

Seriously what would playing like crap look like? again if our defense keeps this up the bar is super low on what the offense needs to do....Dak has played some bad games but overall his average game is well above what the offense is currently doing..10 of 16 for 102 yards and no TD's kicking 4 field goals and being ranked 26th in the league during a scoring low for the league..what is your definition of stinking it up?

Actually, Dak has played pretty poorly, quite often. We managed 3 points against the Bucs in game one. Dak played very poorly in that game. Obviously below what Rush has done since then.

Dak also played very poorly pretty much the entire last half of last season. I’m not sure that Rush hasn’t outplayed game one of this year and Dak’s end of last year.

The upside is probably better with Dak, but it’s becoming a lot closer than I ever envisioned it would be. “Bad Dak” has shown up far too often for the amount of money that Dak is making.

Agreed as I am an old timer and it's been awhile since seeing a defense playing with this much speed and intensity in Dallas.

I saw a thread previously referencing does Dallas make any type of trade before the deadline and it does make me wonder if Dallas should look to acquire more defensive talent to further improve this team's chances this season.....perhaps reuniting DE Robert Quinn (Chicago) back in Dallas or CB Sidney Jones (Seattle).

I heard Jeff Cavanaugh use a stat that kind of squelches the Dak Haters argument of Dak being figured out since Denver game last year....

If I remember correctly...he mentioned that all those winning teams Dak cant beat or the post Denver games...the offense averaged 30 points in those games.

That doesnt mean Dak doesnt have issues with Zone/2 High/whatever...it just means Dak can put points on the board at a higher rate than what Rush is doing. And for the garbage time argument...I dont know if Rush could average 30+ ppg even with a bunch of garbage time.

If that stat is true...I believe Dak can help us get wins at an easier rate than Rush. Time will tell.

And I have this unsettling feeling that he’s going to come back and screw up a good thing. In the context of constantly changing plays because he struggles with pre-snap defensive alignments.

I hope the hell I’m wrong but I don’t have good vibes about Prescott going forward.

Sorry, but I'm more inclined to take what Skip says with a grain of salt, more than anything else. He also started a rumor that Aikman was a homo, many years ago, and that never got anywhere. I suspect he's somewhat prone to flights of the imagination.

Of course. If Dak comes back and is struggling because we mysteriously start passing it 70% of the time and Dak cant beat defenses easily with 7 dropped...of course Dak is going to possibly look bad. Why would Moore do that? Or why would Dak audible out of runs if the team is seeing success when teams have to respect our run game?

It would be par for the course for us to go back to passing constantly and defenses just dropping 7. But...again...I dont feel like going back and rewatching what Jeff said...but it sounds like Dak was still putting up big scores after the Denver game. So...regardless...Dak should be a needle mover offensively and if our defense continues to shine...we could be really good this year. We will see though.

Within Dak's career here are some stats from his games:

17 of 24 for 195 yards with 1 TD Dallas won

12 of 18 for 139 yards with 1 TD Dallas won

17 of 37 for 165 yards with 1 TD and 2 INT Dallas lost

13 of 18 for 183 yards with 2 TD's Dallas won

14 of 22 for 143 yards Dallas won


Funny how when Dak was doing what Rush is doing now his supporters were screaming "Dallas Won so stats don't matter!!!!" yet when Rush is doing something similar and winning Dak's supporters are screaming "We need Dak back for an effective passing game!!!!"

Three of those games were from Dak's rookie year, the other two from 2017. The last one was at Washington in a driving rainstorm.

I have seen numerous examples of so-called Dak supporters trolling Rush's stats or performance in some kind of pathetic attempt to minimize Cooper's performance.

The bottom line is Rush has won 4 straight in Dak's absence and should he start against Philly hopefully it will be 5 wins in a row. The formula for winning right now is one Dak needs to follow when he returns as the defense is special this season and shouldn't be wasted.

You are hurting your own case with the school yard "Dak trolls" BS. Just focus on the team and the wins instead of adding to the divisiveness that is Dak.
