Bears cheated

I'm not saying there were not missed calls there were for both teams. Dallas lost because we played poor football not because of the refs. Hopefully the Cowboys understand that and do not look for a scape goat in the refs calling of the game. Our problems are not the refs

That stuff happens in every game every team plays. Refs are human.

Not to be a conspiract theory kinda guy but the refs have way to big of a part in the game. With their blatant biased calls they can sway the course of a game with 95% of fans not even knowing it.

Honestly, just as at work you can be suspended without pay for making mistakes, the refs should have the same principles. If I screw up it could cost my money or my job. Accountability shouldn't just be for players and coaches..

they saw him make a great catch, just like they showed on tv.
Nothing wrong with Hester's catch, just a great play.

No crying in Football fellas. Just makes us sound like a bunch of pansyarses. We lost, lets suck it up and go win the next 8.

It looked to me that by the time he had possession that his foot was in the air and his knee came down out of bounds, making it incomplete imo.

BB,
Any chance you have video of the TD catch by Hester that was reviewed?
I could not figure out what they saw on that replay, unless there was another angle that was not televised.

I had some antenna problems during that play, so excuse the few glitches.

I assume you are talking about the Hester Catch? Yeah, that was just a great play on his part. We had plenty of opportunity to win that game, even with that catch. We just didn't get it done.

I thought the Hester play was good.

I wanted it to be incomplete but it wasn't.

He has possession and and gets both his toes on the turf.

Simply an amazing play by a guy who was nothing but a KR/PR just a few years ago.

I thought with under two minutes to play the ref goes back to his original position which is near the LB's.
They do, but regardless that Umpire did not hold a hand on the ball until the Center was ready to take it and he took advantage of it. Granted it is usually not that drastic of a move forward, but it has been happening for years.

Pittsburgh was famous for it. Webster used to do it with regularity. He was never called for it.

One thing is for sure the Boys did not catch any breaks from the Refs in this game.

I guess you missed the blatent facemask non-call on Cutler early in the game?

The breaks went both ways, (as they typically do). ;)

Very nice job by Kreutz, I rewound many times, and he is so smooth, you would think that he didn't even know.

Now then, can the OP please edit the title of this thread, it should read .......

"How to play like a Pro Bowl Center" ;)

Off-setting, Ware was face-masked first on the same play.

We get it; you're a Bears fan. Savor your victory and say goodbye.

True, but while there is not 11 refs to watch everyone, there is always one watching the QB in drop back situations, and the ref simply missed the call.

I think my point was clear, calls are missed in every game played, and it usually goes both ways.

I find it embarrassing that some, guys here, (not all) keeps stats like how many breaks one team got, (and blame our loss on that) ......... or, "whistle should have been blown on Roy strip, that's why we lost". "Bears Cheated". (why all these ridiculous threads?).

Really now, some guy actually posted this ...........

This was one of the more important plays of the game. They scored 3pts thanks to the conversion. If we got the ball back, then we would have had the ball back with 50 seconds and 2 timeouts left. Enough time for a FG. Instead of being down 20-14 at the half, should have been 17-14 or even tied at 17-17.

"This was one of the more important plays of the game"

C'mon man!

Why not start a thread compairing,

How many missed tackles we had, and how many they had?
How many missed assignments we had, how many they had?
How many times did we pop their WR and knock the ball out, and how many times did they do it to us?
How many penalties we had, how many they had? (any crucial)?
How many blown coverages we had, how many they had?

Now if the OP knew the anwers to these questions, then he would really know why we lost the game. We wouldn't have to say we were cheated, or the refs gave it to them.

There are only 5 questions there, who knows the answers? (I'm not good at stats):

Since people were talking about the Hester TD catch, I thought the most amazing thing about it was that he was literally the only Bear in the end zone on that play, there were about 5 Cowboys in the end zone, and we still couldn't keep him from being wide open for that catch. I mean Jeeeeeeez.
