I think he is a pretty solid player especially on screens.

well we play the bears, that makes them a litlte tougher to play this year

It does make them a better team. Not sure how good their OL is. I just don't follow them.

And any news is better than no news. It's the slow time of the year.

I was interested because I was thinking he would be a good fit for the Eagles with Westbrook retired. So he didn't go there and I think it was a partial win for us...unless he kills us in our game against Chicago next season.

Meh....we've handled him fairly easily numerous times against the Panthers.

Julius Peppers-DL- Panthers Mar. 5 - 2:17 pm et

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that free agent Julius Peppers will receive $40 million in the first three years of his deal with Chicago.

The $40 million is expected to be guaranteed, ensuring that Peppers will have received roughly $60 million between the 2008 and 2012 seasons, including his back-to-back franchise tags from the Panthers. Peppers' deal with the Bears is imminent and figures to be finalized within the next hour.

one thing about it, makes the panthers weaker now losing peppers and makes vikings weaker now that they lose chester taylor

The NFC Central is going to be a tougher place to play this year. Too bad he didn't go to the AFC but at least not to the East.

Exactly.

Forte is the huge winner in this deal.

If Seattle signs Brandon Marshall to the offer sheet, Broncos would have seven days to match -- or get back the draft's sixth overall pick.

Adam_Schefter

Filed to ESPN: Seattle is strongly considering signing Broncos restricted free-agent WR Brandon Marshall. A huge move.

No surprise. They're spending like a team that doesn't have any high draft picks--and they don't.

Taylor's a good back. Versatile and he's been around the block. He's played in that crappy weather and can still hate the Packers and Lions just the same.
