breaking news? I doubt anyone around here cares about this.

I care. I rather see them w/Chicago, than Philly or the Commanders.

now they can finally give Forte a break. they've been running that kid into the back of their OL the last 2 years.

He killed my fantasy team by under performing!:

They need to fix their O line badly. But there really is not much out there in FA that is worth much as regards O linemen.

if we have a hard time with a journeyman rb, we gots issues.

If they'd signed a journeyman rb, I would be inclined to agree...

great to know we got that far.

taylor is good. journeyman doesn't mean bad. it just means to date he's never really been the main dude. to me anyway. rest assured if i misused the word or didn't use it to your satisfaction, i'll find some way to put the balance back into the world.

Bears spent way too much and to me aren't going to be any better than they were last year. They still have a turnover machine and headcase at QB, no WR's, a below average oline, a below average secondary, a below average coach. When are teams going to learn that you don't win big and most of the time don't even make the playoffs by spending a bunch of money on free agents. Building through draft and making small moves to fill needs are what builds a championship caliber team. Not by going out and signing the largest contracts.

peppers 91 miland 42 mil guaranteed? lolreally...omg this is funny. hes good but wow really?

That divison is really starting to level out. I believe the Packers will take the division (even if Favre returns, which he prolly will) and although the Bears overpaid, they did get better and the Lions are getting better. They (Lions)would have been better this past year but had some serious problems with injuries. That will be a fun division to watch this year IMO/FWIW.

Carry on...

A couple of major holes for the Bears filled. Though honestly surprising one of their first moves wasn't for a wideout. Either someone close to being signed or they have the draft eyed up for that. The Bears make a splash with these two signings though regardless.

They upgraded, but still may be 3rd in their division.
