You're right. I was just watching to see if his knee hit before his arm hit. Didn't realize the ball shifted slightly. He still had full control in my opinion, but according to the letter of the rule if the laces shift, no control.

Honestly though, I don't know if you can see definitively that the ball hit the ground. I sure as heck appears to do so, but I don't think you can actually see the ball make contact with the ground.

I don't think it ever hit the ground, but if you go out of bounds you have to maintain control regardless.
