Beasley has had Weeden and Cassel as his QB for most of the year.

Seriously? Beasley is a much better player.

Maybe a better slot route runner.
That's it.
If there are a dozen football things a player can do, Harris may be better at 10 of them
Zero chance then, that Beasley is a"much better" overall football player.
That's preposterous.

But we kept hi for his slot skills. So that is that

I won't even do player versus player analysis right now when it has become so utterly obvious how poorly coached this football team is. I sincerely believe almost anyone on this roster could do better on another squad right now.

I always thought dallas didn't use Harris near enough at wr.

I agree and just another thing i don't like about this coaching staff. Harris over the beaz...street. ..should have played more here. ..dumb coaching and scheme. I'm done with Garrett.

Beasley is "uncoverable," yet had no catches on the day.

He's another massively overrated player (based on pay and playtime) on this team, joined by T Williams, Free, Carr, etc.

Hard to believe we had so many of them.

The truth hurts.

Is that 2 games in a row, without a catch? Wow!

I think Beasley works a little better with Romo, but can see the argument being made that Harris is the better player. In our current state, it doesn't much matter.

We just never gave him a "chance". Boy oh boy do we were miss that guy....

On this I agree…for some reason some players just don't get a chance here, but then move on to be serviceable elsewhere.

Remember, they said he was uncover able in camp-----vs our CBs....I believe that.

Seeing what we see now, do you go the route of paying Cole and letting Dwayne go?

Yes...this is hindsight...and Cole could potentially flip the script...but Harris is having a very impressive season with the G-men given his expanded role.

Reminds me a bit of when Martellus Bennet went to Giants (and then the Bears)...his seemingly limited production here takes a quantum leap in a new environment.

Makes me wonder...we "swapped" Bennet for Escobar and then took/paid Cole over Harris...

Yes, a bit of Monday morning QB-ing here but it can't help but jump out at you.

This isn't really a decision for me. I'm fine that they kept Cole. I would have been fine if they kept Dwayne. Instead what I'm seeing is that both are C+ to B- talents who are elevated to B's and B+'s based on who the QB is. Cole's play is elevated when Romo is the QB. Harris's is elevated when Eli is the QB. You think Dwayne still gets 2 TDs today with Ryan Nassib? I really think there is no hindsight here to speak of.

Beasley is an overpaid, one trick pony, little twerp who can't play special teams or run a route longer than 10 yards. He is and was over hyped.

Beasley is another in a long line of player selections based on who Romo seems to play well with.

He along with Escobar and T Williams and Devin Street will be long gone next year.

This team is headed for a big turnover in players who have taken big steps back from last year.

I'm just hoping we can see what needs to be changed in the off season and we don't let wishful thinking play into what needs to be done.

QB..RB and TE has to be addressed offensively.

Defensively..

DT, Lber and safety , too.
