The Cowboys can reset the season if they beat the 49ers.

If they lose, the season is likely toast.

It would be a huge emotional boost to beat their nemesis.

Injuries
- 49ers have issues at WR now.
- They struggle without RB McCaffrey.

- Possible return fo Cowboys::
Parsons
Bland
Kendricks
Kneeland
Guyton

Is Dalvin Cook an option?
The only thing that will reset if the Cowboys beat the 49ers is "delusion". It wont change the fact this team isn't good and isn't going anywhere.

Around the rim, baby! Some rich fools will keep the Cowboys in Jerrys news.

(Anyone want to buy a Jersey?) Jerry has tons of #4's and #88's to get rid of.

Buy them TODAY and get a a free chance to enter the, "The Walk Of Shame" locker room ticket.

Must be older than six years or dumb as a rock to enter.

Cowboys should beat the 9ers, but they love FGs and turnovers so much I do know if they believe.

This Cowboys team lacks backbone - they lack character, commitment, and integrity - ALL are in short supply. There are a few guys playing their butts off and many of us notice their efforts. But they represent a minority on this team.

Even facing an equally-wounded Niners team - I believe the homefield advantage and the difference in current cultures between the two teams will have SF easily covering the -4 spread and handling Dallas for the umpteenth consecutive time (Do the Cowboys EVER get to host this tilt? - C’mon NFL!)

Pretty sure the 49ers are not much of a measuring stick this year, but a win would be nice anyway
I’ll bet you a dollar that when this season shakes out the 49ers will be a legit contender in the mix. I’ll double your money if the Cowboys AREN’T watching the Wildcard Round from places like Aruba, Saint Kits, Puerto Vallarta, etc.

I'll co-sign on this since I want to believe it! The defense was hardest hit with injuries and can recover the most with returning starters. The offense needs the OL to gel/click and quit being rookies. Steele I just think he is what he is,,, honestly I didn't think that much of him before he was injured. Couldn't believe jerry paid him like that for being a semi-serviceable run blocker.

The 49ers are in disarray right now and may be without both of their star receivers, their star RB who is one of the best players in the league recently and their star TE. On defense they have similar issues. So no, beating SF won’t reset anything. We stink

Right…

Tell me all your points are good…

Except for one thing… Jerry and the FO… he doesn’t give a damn about winning as long as fans and the media continue speculating about this and that…
You’re lining Jerry’s pockets with money…

So you think even if the Cowturds beat an injured team that’s it all good?

Keep believing…

If the Cowboys defeated a completely healthy 49er team with McCaffrey, Aiyuk, and Jennings playing, then it would be "all good".

It's not much of a victory to beat a team that has both arms and a leg tied behind their back.

Apparently, It's even less of a victory defeating the Cowboys since the 49ers are still favored.

Beat the 49ers and falcons and then we can talk, 49ers are dealing with so many injures that it could even the table just enough....

I'm not getting excited unless they show consistency against good teams, they have a stretch now that will decide the season, we will know in 3-4 weeks if anything is salvageable or if we're in tank mode

gonna be honest, the season isn't going anywhere. too flawed of a team
never going to root for them to lose and I'm not gonna lie...throwing the 49ers an L would be nice
But no one should be of the belief that this will turn the season around
Know how you feel. I’m conflicted as well.

I can’t stand Jerry and his act with a passion and would rather see him miserable, but I have a tough time wanting them to lose once I flip on the tv and see the laundry, which I loved before that guy showed up.

I do think Dallas wins this one somehow, and Jerry will take the attitude that the SF monkey is finally gone and he is on the right track…..ya know…‘told y’all how great I was.’

I don't know. Hope he's OK. We're missing a few regulars over the last few weeks.
Turnovers are usually the deciding factor in many games and this one could be no exception. The Cowboys and 49ers both rank near the bottom of the NFL in turnovers, giving the ball up 11 times. But where the 49ers are different is the amount of takeaways, forcing 13 turnovers, while Dallas has only forced five. In the last three losses to the 49ers, the Cowboys have lost the overall turnover battle 7-3.

The never to disappear factor in the game of football sport, itself. It is still coached away.

I swear someone trots out this narrative every single game. Beating a severely injured 9ers team in their down year doesn't change the fact that this team isn't good.. at least against playoff or .500 teams. It's all putting lipstick on a pig at this point in time.

I actually agree with you here. One of the things I admired about Pete Carroll in Seattle was if he claimed someone off waivers he threw them in a game right away to see what they could do so he knew what he had. We never seem to do that until everyone ahead of them is injured and we have to play them.
Right and let's circle back to something we can probably all agree on right now most of our mess is in scheming play calling and in game adjustments and our entire coaching staff from top to bottom is failing hard...

Why is it they need to buy week to get this figured out???
I don't understand, I literally don't see we have to use the words fundamentals and basics in Pro Football??!!
those are things that these guys got to the NFL and most of the veterans have been in the NFL for years,
how do they need to be told how to run proper routes and be reminded on how to tackle better and be reminded not to play hero ball and make sure you do your assignments and not everyone else's, stop looking for the big hit or the big sack or the big interception....
just go out and play I'm really confused on how that excuse is being read out in public you should be embarrassed to say that you need to go back to the basics why do you need the bye week to go back to the basics!!! no!!!!!!!!!!!!
we need the bye week for you to scrap anything you had prior to the lion's game and just have new game plans new schemes get aggressive go after these next 11 games like it's house money like you have nothing to lose like you know you're about to die and have 11 weeks to live , you don't sit home and play house , you go grab your bucket list sell everything, grab all CCS and go live it up with no rules, you just let it in let it hangs loose.

I've never seen someone whose job is possibly on the line and that would be the whole coaching staff so basically on one year contracts come out and play conservative football and try not to lose games to the point where they're calling plays to protect one side of all or the other and they literally are not thinking about beating the other team they're thinking about not getting beat and I don't get it I literally don't get it I am confused on why Mike McCarthy still has his job here as offensive coordinator at minimum and if I see another outing where they scrap the run game in the 1st 10 minutes and they don't try to run they don't try to create misdirection try to really make the defense think bring the game to them and an aggressive defense screwed what you think the blitz might get whatever you're doing right now is not working so if you're gonna give up 49 points do it throw in everything in the kitchen sink at this entire team we're about to play put the pressure on them if not I'd like to see some hedge roll some demotions some firing I think we're all there.

rant over

And then I'll take a big win in San Francisco against San Francisco then a loss I mean come on what's the alternative you rather see them lose why I mean that's what people are saying like let's show Jerry how bad his team is so we lose no I'll take the lipstick on the pig and put A tutu on it versus what we had to live for the last two weeks had to go through a bye week after that lions destroying us I prefer Sunday night game that we actually win before I go to bed and at least it puts us at least in a different place this week and it's a week to weekly you gotta take it as it comes but you need to win the damn game that's the purpose there is no tanking there is no trying to get the best draft pick there isn't a place in sports for fans to wish we lose in order to run our GM out of town that is not how it works so yes you might be right but I'll take that over the alternative that lions game is the alternative I don't want that I want them to win and I'll be proud of the win and it'll just be for this week most of us can compartmentalize each week what wins and losses mean and I'll take the wins for what they are at face value it's always just a win and a loss and you move on to next week...
