Did you watch the video in the opening statement?Because everything is guaranteed. Everything always works out for the Cowboys.
Tap the brakes, and show me, don't make bogus guarantees. I'm not giving anything Cowboys the benefit of the doubt.
I wish Travis Frederick was still around.I wish CowboyRoy was still around.
I agree. There will be some bumps in the road and while Biadasz had his faults he was a solid NFL Center. I really like Beebe, but hes a guy with one high end trait with his size/strength and is pretty average aside from that. He has a chance to be better than Biadasz but that wont happen day 1, especially for a guy who is switching positions.Guy who never actually played center will be an upgrade over a guy who signed a $30 million free agent deal and made a pro bowl? Hope springs eternal this time of year.
Yes I did watch the video, one guy was playing center, his natural position against current nfl players and the other was playing guard against players, the majority of which will never make an nfl roster.
This kid could develop into a great NFL center but it won’t happen overnight, worst case it looks like he could be a serviceable guard.
Pump the brakes time will tell
Tap the brakes? Even for some optimism? The film clearly shows Beebe is a much better blocker than Biadasz. Yes, it will take time for Beebe to fully grasp the Center position which he has never played, but the young man is very smart and way more physically capable than Biadiasz was.Guy who never actually played center will be an upgrade over a guy who signed a $30 million free agent deal and made a pro bowl? You’re allowed to have as much optimism as you want, being optimistic is a choice, history suggests the transition being asked of Beebe will take time and may or not be successful. I was pessimistic at first for all the valid reasons you stated. Since I played Center during my days, I understand fully how hard it is to play the position. After recently hearing how smart this young man is, how he has been taking snaps at Center in practice throughout the 2023 season, plus watching various tape breakdowns on him, I feel much more at ease and even confident Beebe will be able to pick up the Center position and play it well sooner than later. You’re allowed to have as much optimism as you want, being optimistic is a choice, history suggests the transition being asked of Beebe will take time and may or not be successful. Nothing wrong with being optimistic especially this time of year, but does looking at reality make one a pessimist?
Finally somebody with a bit of senseBecause everything is guaranteed. Everything always works out for the Cowboys.

I just hope he can easily handle the transition to center.Beebe won't get pushed back into the QB on passing downs. Big improvement.
Plus he is a better run blocker. Big improvement.
My fear is the fans are building this kid up just to fail early on. I'm a fan of the pick, if I were a betting man I'd say he makes a pro bowl before his rookie deal is up, but we don't even know if he will be the starter week 1 yet.Dear Beebe,
We all know you will be one the first to get thrown under the bus when the offense fails.
OP and his buds will talk you up today, but when that ball ain’t moving and it’s getting turned over and we’re getting 3 and outs you will be the reason why.
Keep your head up, kid.
Beebe was a 2nd round talent that luckily fell to the Cowboys early in the 3rd round. Also, Travis Frederick was the 31st overall pick taken (end of the 1st round), so Beebe is not that far behind him in talent as a blocker. Certainly much better than Biadasz. My fear is the fans are building this kid up just to fail early on. I have no issues with people being optimistic about a 3rd round pick, but the odds of a 3rd round OL pick being a plug and play starter in this league is low. Last year 3 OL were picked in the 3rd round and combined for less than 450 snaps. 2022 was a little different as there were some hits that year with Abe Lucas and Bernard Raimann, but out of 6 OL selected in round 3 four of them were not starters or started but were disasters on the field. Even the success stories in Lucas/Raimann had some growing pains as they combined for 16 penalties and 16 sacks allowed.
A good season from Beebe doesn't mean he is the rookie version of Travis Frederick. I hope it is but Frederick was an exception to the rule....also a 1st rounder.
