Hey SamIAm, what's going on with you today?

Nadda, trying to get some new procedures installed here at work. I'm taking off tomorrow as I'm moving over the weekend and wanted to get a head start by starting on Friday. What's up with you?

Not much. Just putting in the time, waiting for the weekend as well. Congrats on moving but it's also a pain. Sorry Brother.

FYI,

as a change up, I'm liking this one.

today was official, beer will be avaliable at all home football games. beer sold at a football stadium on a college campus? whats wrong with milk, tea, or water? beer isnt a great way to enjoy longhorn games.

Have you watched UT games the last few years? I think a lot of alcohol intake would make the games more enjoyable.

WVU brought it into the Big 12 IIRC so others are taking advantage of it. As AmberBeer stated...it's all about the money and WVU got a pretty good amount of money after starting to sell beer at the stadium, I would only imagine UT will get even more with the larger stadium.

I believe they sold beer at Colorado games when they were in the Big XII.

beer is too silly and boring like refried beans. and is gonna make most of the wild UT diehards more foolish and immature. if i were the UT fans, i go home and rest, spend time with family, do studying, or go to a movie.

They are drinking before the game anyway, or sneaking flasks into the stands. What's the difference?

A cold beer will probably cost $11.00+. I wouldn't worry too much about college students drinking too much with that kind of cost. Especially when they can buy a bag of weed, smoke it in the parking lot, and nobody will care in the least.

College students have always smuggled in flasks and always will. They also get pretty well liquored up in the parking lot before the game.

Another thing, some want to make this out as a travesty considering the students age and maturity and how to handle alcohol. Well, from what I have witnessed at many College games, the adults far outweigh the students in attendance. I don't see this sporting event much different from an NFL or MLB game.

I will preface this by saying not a huge college sports fan, and the teams I do follow are not really in my area but I thought beer was already served at college games.

This is the main point. Access to beer has never been a problem at colleges. People aren't going to be paying the beer prices at a level where it's going to be a problem. And beer has been readily available at UT games during all sorts of pre-game stuff, just not inside the stadium.

Actually it's fairly rare, but the number of schools that do has been steadily increasing in the last few years. The list as of last season:
