I'm looking forward to seeing if Spencer can take the next step. With a year under his belt and a full off-season he should have a better understanding of the defense we run. I also like the fact that we do have Ellis returning after coming off his best season ever. Like many I don't like to here Ellis complain but when he hits the field he does his job.

The first line would seem to contradict your assessment of him.

There's a reason why he wasn't drafted. Maybe he had a few big plays in his college career but so did a lot of other guys who went undrafted. The problem is that they aren't consistent.

I agree to a certain extent. If you want to complain then do it to the right people which is the owner and or coach you don't need to get in front of the camera and make stupid comments. I like Ellis and enjoy watching him play but I can live without the drama.

I don't think so - Ellis has a lot of savvy on the pass rush.

its time to start spencer and save ellis for the playoffs.

ellis always starts strong and peters out. its getting worse as he ages, lets start spencer and use ellis sparingly during the regular season.

The thing I continue to worry about Ellis is how much are we giving up in coverage with him when he is not rushing the passer. I really hope this year Spencer plays more in the base defense so Ellis can be fresher to rush the passer in the nickel.

I can see the talent in this guy. It comes down to numbers and what he shows during TC. He could possibly be a futre replacement for Ellis. The more pass rsuhers the better. As I see it now we just have three........Don't know to much about this Justice guy.

That threw me for a loop to. I saw this kid play a lot over here in ACC country. I think he makes the team and he's gonna push somebody outside of Ware and Ellis.

I think so too. I think he will be a solid pass rusher in the NFL.
