answer me this

is it possible that more than just Michael Vick has bet on a dog-fight, or attended one, or sponsored a dog?

just like it's possible that more teams than just the Pats were/are cheating?
Did you do the calculations? I wanted you to show your work. you get an F.

Yes it's possible that more players than Vick have been involved in dog fighting. it's also possible more teams are cheating. If you would do those calculations, you would find out which is more possible.

What's that?? Reminding you that you have said that you have a criminal record? You told us that... if it's not true, let us know.

you don't need to do any calculations to see that 1:1700 odds is greater that 1:32 odds

but we have no evidence for either argument, so we still have only 1 team cheat, until then, player's misconduct is a bigger black eye IMO

it's possible that refs could bet on games

don't you think that could hurt the league's integrity?

ajklfjadsklfjasdklfjkasdlf

I'm not seperating on from off the field

players who break the law off the field are just as likely to break on-field rules

You're like....incapable of understanding how nothing you just said has anything to do with anything. It's really amazing, from the other side. I wish you and Big Dakota could see yourselves in action.

so, players who are capable of shaming the league's integrity on the field ie breaking NFL rules, since they've shown that propensity by breaking laws off it, has nothing to do w/ anything?

500k is about 20% of Bill pay - not chump change.

Yeah, now he's gotta get by on "only" 2.1 million this year... we should hold a bake sale for him, or something...

But wait, don't be surprised if in the coming months we hear about the Pats extending Belicheat's contract, giving him a raise... which will, of course, be an underhanded way for Kraft to essentially reimburse Bill for the fine money...

I guess I can live with the penalties levied, as others have noted the bloom is now off the "New America's Team" rose, they are now perceived as the cheaters they apparently are... but I am pissed that Wade Wilson gets the book thrown at him for what he did, and Billy Belicheat gets a slap on the wrist for his transgression... I don't think anybody can argue that what Bill did is FAR worse... indeed, now that I've learned the details behind Wilson's suspension, I find it difficult to believe that the league had the right to suspend or fine him at all-- him taking those drugs was in no way going to provide the Cowboys with any competitive advantage, given that he's not a PLAYER any more...

So let me get this straight. Our QB coach is suspended multiple games for soing something that will get him no advantage on the playing field but Belichick doesn't get suspended a single game for cheating!!??

This is ridiculous.

I agree, although I think the loss of a 1st round pick hurts more, but still, he should have gotten 5 games

Those Pat teams were STACKED w/ talent. They could beat just about anyone at anytime.

Still - why cheat? What was the cheating buying you?

And how can you ever feel any sense of pride if you had to cheat to win??

Normally I would agree that losing a first round pick does hurt but they still get to keep the pick they got from the Niners. So they lose a pick that would probably have been low low first round but still get to keep a pick that will probably be mid first round.
