Believe we are going to see Moore/Nussmeier and Zimmer or Harris

The Cowboys appear not to want to start over from scratch, but rather move ahead with this current group of players, more of a retool then a rebuild. I believe they don't want to bring in a completely new system, which is why both Kellen Moore/Doug Nussmeier make a ton of sense. Dak not only has a good relationship with both, but he knows their offensive system/language. This isn't the direction I would go, but appears pointed in that direction.

As for defense, I think it's Zimmer's job if he wants to continue coaching, if he does retire, I fully expect Al Harris to get promoted. He has put in his time and has earned the promotion. Being around Quinn/Zimmer will help him put together a similar scheme with concepts from both.

Kellen Moore is worst case scenario IMO…definition of status quo and not disrupting what hasn’t worked for 20 years.

I’d love to keep Zim but we’ll see…Broaddus said on his most recent podcast that Harrris isn’t thought of as highly
in the building as he is externally.

I agree, but you know how this front office operates. We could also see Zimmer as HC as they groom Witten.

Broaddus says he is not hearing good things about Al Harris inside the Star. The former Bears coach, Eberflus, to be part of Kellen’s staff. Goodness I hope someone from outside the organization gets the job like Saleh.

Just told Cavanaugh that the front office doesn’t think that highly of Harris. Broaddus kind of tries to light matches. He said Jerry wasn’t sure about paying Dak and the front office will consider trading Micah so I wouldn’t say his word is gospel.
Wow, this does kinda align with the blow it up narrative. Makes sense. If true. My feeling has been, going back to the GB loss, that this team would be dismantled, staff included. I believe this is the plan all along. I give Jerry some credit for it, even if I disagree on how he did it. He should have fired everyone on the staff including MM and DQ after the way we lost the GB game. He waited a year too long. I guess better late than never. Now we must get these hires right. I do think they will try to trade Micah.

The Green Bay game was so bad that I think Jerry was so devastated he didn’t know what to do. He had a chance to stand up to the system but then signed Dak and CeeDee to big contracts at the last second. I think the Cowboys have a few strengths. CeeDee and Parsons are good building blocks. I know fans are done with Dak but he is worth so more then fans want to believe. He is a CEO. The crap that he deals with from the media and Cowboys haters is more than most quarterbacks can stand. I don’t think Lamar Jackson or Josh Allen could have survived in Dallas when they were developing. The quarterback job is hard under the Joneses.

I just dont think they are as high on Moore as some think they are. If they were, they wouldn't have let him go in 2023.

I don't think this team is even close to good enough to want to keep any kind of status quo. They should be looking to significantly retool. They may not have a choice, because I just dont believe they actually see Moore as HC material. I think thats more media hype than anything else. TBH, I think they would be far more likely to promote Zimmer than hire Moore. And I even think thats doubtful

Oh lord Cowturd thinks the Cowboys are really bad. He wants us to trade Parsons for some beans, has Dak on the same quarterback tier as Darnold and Mayfield, and now thinks McCarthy is a top 10 coach. He cracks me up with his West coast bias.

Broaddus is in his element when he discusses the draft but when he tries to give Jerry (front office) opinions he sound like he is talking out the other side.

I totally agree, they should be looking for a total retool to the staff. I am basing my opinion on what we have seen in the past. Let's see how it plays out.

That would be a disaster! I am hoping for the same, but you have seen how this franchise operates. Not a fan for Saleh as HC, but rather have him then those two.
