wileedog is right: we "believe" every year with this cast of characters and where does it get us? That's right, incredibly frustrated and pissed off. Until they give us a reason to believe and/or for hope, they can kiss my butt. I don't even get the NFL Network(strange, because I get 188 other channels on my cable provider) and that's a good thing for tonight. I've followed this team for 32 years and want nothing more than to believe but the fact is we're going to get waxed tonight. "Believe?" C'mon, MAN...........

So...

when the Cowboys start winning, you can start cheering.

You coulda simply typed, "I root for whoever happens to be winning at the moment" and saved your keyboard some wear and tear.

Having a tough time choosing a new favorite team at the moment? I'm guessing you tell your friends you're other favorite team is the Saints.. no wait, Colts... I mean the Patriots...

But it went there real quick, as if what we believe as fans will have any impact on the field. I haven't seen one post regarding what this team believes, that's the question. The team itself has been relatively quiet and diplomatic, with the exception of RW. A little spark from the team, as opposed to the fans who'll be watching the game, might have been more appropriate but that might be too much to ask for from the kool-aid drinking pom pom wavers.

He got Brian Stewart and Bruce Read fired.

He made Ed Werder stop speculating wildly about the Cowboys without legit sources.

And he is the reason Tony hasn't been turning the ball over in December so far.

Then why resort to charcterizing fans and name calling which started early in the thread? Theebs got positive responses for the most part and a couple of "negative" comments where people let their feelings be known.

Any time you challenge someone's fanhood on a message board of their favorite team where they probably spend to much time on, it's probably going to illicit some strong responses. Don't be shocked and dismayed when you get it back.

And right on cue, you're immediately here to incite people (again) which was the initial goal of your post and, as a result, the thread was hijacked from the ops original and intended meaning.

There is a big difference in those who have lost faith in this team but continue to root and hope for it ...... and those who come to this board with the intention of making everyone else feel as bad as they do.

The members of C.R.A.P. go out of their way to bad mouth the Boys so if they lose they can say "told ya so!!!!"

You can tell by the reaction to the positive threads on this board.

Giving up before the season is over is the Cowards way ...... If the Cowboys lose every game for the rest of the season I will be wrong ..... but at least I will not be to scared to believe in, root for, and defend my team from the naysayers.

I said that in regards to anyone who gives up on a team before the season is over.

If that sounds like you .... then I could care less what you think.

But the point is I did not start the mud slinging in this thread .... the members of C.R.A.P. who invaded it in the very first page did.
