You expect the hopers to just sit quiet and take being called cowards?

Let's keep it real friend.

from what i read it wasn't specific to anyone till someone stood up and went HEY!!!???

and i just have NO FREAKING IDEA why people can't post something positive about the team w/o the realists having to feel the need to peepee in their cheerios.

I think we all (people who are positive and negative) need to remember that no matter how we view the team we all want the same thing. A victory against the Saints, and then a Super Bowl victory.

We may express ourselves differently, and have different ideas about where the team is, but we all want a Cowboys victory. Otherwise we wouldn't spend so much time on this board.

I said that in regards to anyone who gives up on a team before the season is over.

No matter the reason why you said it; you asked for a link and I gave it to you. Of course, now you don't deny it but just make excuses for it. Typical.

If that sounds like you .... then I could care less what you think.

This is your typical troll response to excuse your classless behavior and comments. I don't think I've ever seen a person with 40,000 posts who had so little to say.

But the point is I did not start the mud slinging in this thread .... the members of C.R.A.P. who invaded it in the very first page did.

No, you did start the mud slinging because someone posted a response that you didn't like. The response wasn't personal until you made it that way and you further brought up some perceived grudge from two years ago to attack a poster's motives and again question his fanhood; grow up.

And with this CRAP thing, get off off Hostile's jock. Everytime a mod posts something (like Dallas in this thread), you immediately show up like a pom pom waving cheerleader who has to follow-up with a smiley and root him/her on because you don't have an original idea of your own. It's your MO, it's like clockwork and I think it's comical. You're like that midget sidekick in the Clint Eastwood westerns that can't keep from sniffing someone's jock or rooting him on:

You and your ilk (get a dictionary) cannot stand for a positive thread to be left alone.

My "ilk" don't have 40,000 plus posts with nothing to say. I have less than one thousand. Who invades posts and talks babbling jibberish? I thought so.

758 with nothing to say isn't much of an improvement.

Probably because if the opposite-minded thread was posted, exactly the same thing would/does happen.

It's such a simple premise that I'm shocked so few get it without getting their panties in a wad. Well said Cover 2.

I asked if hoping was the same as believing and was told that hoping was "the cowards way out".

Then killer jumped in with his rambling about "shutting the cowards up".

You're right, individuals were not specified. But come on man, people are going to read the big bold letters hidden between the lines.

That kind of talk is going to draw return fire every time.

I have NO FREAKING IDEA why people can't just share their thoughts without calling out the other side every single time.

What do you think would happen if someone started a thread talking about our poor chances to win? (hypothetically of course)

Do you think the believers wouldn't be all over that?

I guess it's just human nature to divide into factions.

ie - people are going to see what they want to see and react to what they *THINK* the other person said instead of clarifying the point.

i don't deny it won't get "return fire every time" - i just say it's stupid when you're not even sure he's talking about you - just "assume" it and start arguing like that was his point.

as for your last question, there's not enough "believers" to cover all the "we suck" threads these days. so that side is just as frustrated as the other side, just over something different.

If I said "all (pick your religious affiliation) are cowards" don't you think most if not all members of that religion would be offended?

This is not directed at you but the irony of this is that hiding behind generalities is a bit... well... cowardly.
