I don't know what his injury issues really were this camp, but last year, he got IRd because he had a (relatively) minor injury but we didn't want to lose his rights. He'd have been available to play later in the season if we'd been able to use him.

Lets see, the Cowboys kicked him to the curb. Then the team he went to.. kicked him to the curb. That says a lot to the average GM....But knowing the GM of the Cowboys....he will bring him back....they love other teams rejects. The GM will hit the jackpot with one of these recycled JAG's...Go get him Jerry... its your chance to prove the Patriots wrong....

He's available because he is a spare level part that is easily replaced. Not sure why some of our fellow Zoners don't get that.

If he were going to make the roster, we wouldn't have traded him in the first place. If we have a major unmet need right now it's at WIL/MLB or the rush end position, not DT.
