Most teams pull their starter when the game is out of hand either way. They allow Dak to stay in too long & put up useless stats that hide how bad it was when the game was yet to be decided.
Pulling the starters in a playoff game is something only the winning team does. The losing team has nothing to lose by keeping the regulars in there.

I don’t think anyone is doing that. No one is pointing to the garbage stats and excusing Dak’s game yesterday.

Everyone knows what happened but yeah, if there’s someone out there trying to get clicks by defending him then I suppose anything is possible.

Listen to what Jesse Holley says about the culture of the Cowboys and why simply claiming that Bill Belichick will fix all does not make sense. Honestly, this explains so much about this org. Watch starting 11:48 where Holley talks about the difference between Dallas and New England and how the orgs are run. This is exactly why this org is such a clown show.

That video deserves it's own thread

First, are you under the impression Dak made the decision who kept playing and who didn't?

Second, the The Packers didn't pull their starter, nor did the Browns when they got blown out this weekend.

This is the playoffs - last game. The Cowboys trying to save what little face they can and go down fighting. Any team would do the same.

It was 27-10 after we scored after the half.

Defense crapped the bed just as bad all night

It has always been this way though even when we were handing out the beatings. Very much the opposite of what you see from every other team.

Not great comparisons. Love getting reps in his first year. Who were the Browns going to put in?

Dak definitely bears his share of blame. There is no question about that. But the "stat bandito" comment is kind of nonsensical . Why would anyone expect when the Cowboys got way behind they wouldn't air it out trying to score points? That would be the case for any team with any QB in that situation.
I would rather they just put Cooper Rush into the game and done up the middle handoffs the rest of the game. It was time to concede and get ready for the next season. Own the score-don’t try to fake your way to an argument that the game was competitive. You got your *** kicked-take your L like a man and quit trying to be fools gold.

Who?

And I don't care what he has to say. It wasn't about stats yesterday, nobody cares about that. He is just mad with the rest of the idiots in the media they can't put a bad statline out there for the whole offseason.

They don't say this garbage when other qbs do it.

Moron ! We lost our arse. But ur happy Dak had “ a good stat line “. Just quit Tad
