Dak had 1 TD, 2 INTs, and less than 200 yards passing with 6 mins left in the game and the Cowboys were down 48-16.
I think Big Mike did him and CeeDee a disservice by risking injury. We should have sent Cooper Rush or Lance out there, once GB called the dawgs off.

It has always been this way though even when we were handing out the beatings. Very much the opposite of what you see from every other team.

Not great comparisons. Love getting reps in his first year. Who were the Browns going to put in?
First, that's not true. Cooper Rush mopped up 7 games this year.

Second, this is the playoffs, not just getting some reps in meaningless games to help Love gain some experience for next season. He has 1 or more games left to play, and there is always a chance of injury, so he wasn't just playing for reps.

Third, the Browns have a back up QB just like the Cowboys do. Why would you think otherwise?

And finally, again, do you really think Dak is making the decisions on who stays in or goes out?

Listen to what Jesse Holley says about the culture of the Cowboys and why simply claiming that Bill Belichick will fix all does not make sense. Honestly, this explains so much about this org. Watch starting 11:48 where Holley talks about the difference between Dallas and New England and how the orgs are run. This is exactly why this org is such a clown show.

Totally agree. I think Jesse Holley hits the nail on the head.

Who?

And I don't care what he has to say. It wasn't about stats yesterday, nobody cares about that. He is just mad with the rest of the idiots in the media they can't put a bad statline out there for the whole offseason.

They don't say this garbage when other qbs do it.
How can you defend dak. Game was over after his pick 6 and second interception. He is mot the answer. Move on its ok

At what point on the game clock did he enter the games though? & how long had the game already been decided? I said Dak stays in longer than others. Cooper coming in doesn't negate that fact.

You realize Flacco was already like the 4th QB they had started this year. And he's like a 35 year old who only played like the last 6 games. Driskel was more of injury only option probably.

What are you talking about? The point late in games where the score is lopsided is what we were discussing.

I was responding to your claim that the Cowboys always keep Dak in games and let him run up stats. The fact Rush came in 7 times to do exactly the opposite responds directly to that claim. That was the context.

I have yet to hear one person bring up Dak's stats to defend his performance against the Packers. Sure Dak padded his stats at the end of the game, but every team on the losing end tries to score as many points as they can to get back in the game, even when there are only a few seconds left on the clock. Should the Cowboys have given up with 15 minutes to play and just run the clock out? Give me a break. We saw the game and we saw how Dak played early. But football is a team sport. It was not just Dak, and maybe the team has to realize that playing for personal achievement is the wrong attitude. Play to win and let personal achievements come with the winning records.

I guarantee you someone will try to use Dak's stats against GB to justify another ridiculous contract.

It’s one of the great reasons we have a bad franchise. The 400 and 500 level fans will say Dak is Montana no matter what. We know the actual reason, but they are too afraid to admit it.
I have never seen anyone claim Dak was Montana or at the level of one of the elite QBs in the history of the NFL.

Dak definitely bears his share of blame. There is no question about that. But the "stat bandito" comment is kind of nonsensical . Why would anyone expect when the Cowboys got way behind they wouldn't air it out trying to score points? That would be the case for any team with any QB in that situation.
We see reading with understanding isn’t a strong suit of you Dak apologists smh. Nothing your posting has jack expletive to do with what that tweet mentioned. Y’all are too transparent with your convenient obtuseness.

Dak deserves all the criticism he's getting for yesterday, but let's not act like he's the only reason the Cowboys lost. The entire team embarrassed themselves in front of the world.
I’m tired of this stupid logic. Nobody says this expletive when Dak is being praised so stop saying it when he is getting criticized. No flip he isn’t the only person that messed up but that isn’t the point smh.

8 years as the starter, 40 million dollars, 2 head coaches, 2 coordinators, multiple new receivers, different running backs, playing a first year starter who was a back up and we can't expect him to step up and lead this team to a victory?
How about stepping up and bolstering his team to show some emotion? Everyone talks about his leadership skills where is it? Getting on the podium and doing an impersonation of Eyore isn't it.
