cork or no cork if that ****** will just catch the ball we are on par with the best teams in the league at receiver. Talent-wise, this is the best team since the90's

******? That's just lame. 100-1 you would never have the guts to call him that to his face.

Technically since Irvin was drafted it would be Irvin as the greatest. So there we can all agree it was Irvin

I don't blame him that we did that. I would have really liked to see him and Aikman play together, I think they would have torn it up. And Galloway when healthy was productive with bad QBs while hear. So I still like the guy, its just it didn't work out.

Think its funny how all of the "new" cowboys fan dont realize how your greats did it, so many short term minds.....Alvin Harper was a menace....T.O. had a good season....

............to himself. IMO, he was the most inconsistent WR we had then. Every once in a while he'd catch one that'd make your jaw drop. I do remember saying "Awwww, c'mon Harper!" more so than not.

I voted for TG, because based on production, he's the best WR we've had since Mike. As far as talent goes, I think Antonio Bryant had the most, but no brain and an attitude problem. I wish Parcells could have made something of that kid. He WAS our future #1. Oh well ... GO MILES!

I don't blame him either...I was just kidding around.

I liked Galloway and wished that we would have kept him along with Johnson.

I voted for T.O. and here's why:

The question was "Who's the best Cowboys WR since Irvin was drafted?" Not "who's done the most for the team?" or "who's been here longer?"

Let me give you a hypothetical: let's say the Cowboys draft a WR in 2004 who comes in and just lights up the record books. 18 TD's, 1600 yards, 125 receptions, blah, blah, blah. The next year he suffers an injury that ends his career. Game over. Now the question is asked. Who is the best Cowboys WR since Irvin was drafted? It's a no brainer. The kid that was on his way to smashing record upon record before being forced out of the game is the only logical answer. Was he able to play out a promising career for many seasons with the Cowboys? No. was he clearly the best thing we had seen at the position since Irvin left? Absolutely! For me, the same applies to Owens.

I, personally, can't exclude T.O. because he was under contract with another team while Glenn was signed (which seems to be the criteria for some) to play for the Cowboys. His tenure (to me) is irrelevent. T.O. is the better receiver, and he IS officially a Cowboy.

The best Cowboys WR since Irvin is Owens. Irvin would tell you the same thing.

Just to qualify my answer (as someone other than a blind T.O. homer), I hated T.O. before he came here. I'll hate him again when he leaves. In the interim, he's a Cowboy and I'll scream, shout and root for every catch and TD he produces whilst wearing the star. Other than that I could care less about the guy.

just to qualify mine - i hated TO also before he got here. i hated it when we signed him. but over the course of the year i was able to see 1st hand the media just make crap up about him. i yell / whine at some that tend to go for "max-drama-value" on each and every moment they can, so i HATED it when the media did that.

i'm TO neutral now and we'll just see what he does. in the end people do what they do and if TO is the bad guy he'll prove it soon enough w/ or w/o the media dogging his every move for a story.

all that said - most would agree that TO is better than Glenn but the "best as a cowboy" does mean something different to us all. since some people can't have that, it spawned a hell of a debate but it didn't change anything.

as usual. : )
