Right now Dallas.

Hopefully we keep this confidence and swagger. However we need to force more turnovers ala Philly.

Dallas is playing the best defense of anyone in the league right now.

Dallas has the best defense, but wonders if our ball control offense will be our undoing, as in not scoring enough and forcing our defense to carry the team in the postseason?

Games always slow down in the postseason.

If anything playing this way is a gift, as it will get us used to those types of games.

Yep. Steelers benefit from this every year when they get in.

Dallas has the best defense on paper and in performance the last two weeks.

I feel like I have to say Green Bay.

I could be wrong.

They are good but they don't have Demarcus Ware. If they had him and we had Clay Mathews I would probably say they were better.

Statistically speaking,

1: Green Bay
2: Philadelphia
3: Minnesota
4: Dallas
5: Cardinals
6: Saints

Since I'm a Dallas fan we'll flip that list upside down :)

Are you talking about the same Green Bay team that recently gave up 37 points to the Pittsburgh Steelers?

The Dallas Cowboys.

Least points allowed, and in reality that is the only stat that matters.

Plus we may not get many picks or fumbles, but when we have it has consistently been in key plays or times during the game.

If you actually take away the two Giants games, the Cowboys are giving up 14.2 points per game over the other 13 games they have played.

And the NFC East had a much more brutal schedule than the NFC North.

They played the AFC North and NFC West.

New York was the only team the Cowboys couldn't stop. The Cowboys held every opponent to 21 points or less except for the Giants.

It doesn't work that way. You'd have to discount every other team's two worst games too to make a valid comparison.

Our defense has been very good most of the season with maybe 3 exceptions:

NYG x 2 (even here, it was more due to offensive TOs that it looked so bad in the first game in points surrendered, but I say they still gave up the game in the clutch)

TB

2 of those 3 games were the first two games of the season.

Our defense has probably been the most consistent defense in the league over the last 13 weeks. Heck, even that 31 we gave up to NYG is just slightly more than their season average.

Our concerns is really offensive scoring.
