If we need to do that to move this along I would be willing. I won't change my plus guy Elway as I believe he would start over any QB in History on the same team, but I could adjust on my minus guy even though it would make me look like a homer.

Hey, I'll go for that, I'll keep Aikman my plus guy as I honestly think he was better than Elway and doesn't get credit for his wonderful talent, but I would change my - against Elway until later in the process. No sense in just cancelling each other out every day.

Everyone can have his own opinion, of course, but I'd be curious to know why people would give Joe Montana a minus.

I wouldn't until it got to be Elway vs. Montana and then only to be consistent. I think Elway is the best QB ever to play the game. I respect other opinions though. That's why I haven't questioned anyone's opinions. Staubach is my all time favorite player and if he had not had to give 5 years to the US Navy I might rank him above Elway and Montana. But as it stands I have always had him as 3rd behind them.
