So how many games would you like us to lose before we make a change? 4? 5?

P.S. My trivia question is a really really really short list. I'll give you a hint, you already listed all of them.

Edit: It's you who are moving the goal posts... you first said he will only lose the starting job if he gets injured.
I'm not going any further down this hypothetical road with you. Dak is the starting QB and will keep that job unless he gets injured. If you have followed Dak even a little then you know there is no indication what so ever that he will ever play bad consistently enough to ever relinquish the starting QB job back to Romo.

I can't do that, I can list a few QBs who went to their first Super Bowl when they were as old or older than Romo though. Elway is most notable among them, Gannon, Tarkenton, and Unitas are the others. So how about the list I asked for of rookie QBs to win a Super Bowl? Just 3 of them.
Elway and Tarkenton went to their first SB's when they were younger than Romo. Unitas won a pair of NFL championships back in the 50's. Tony hasn't even come close to a SB appearance.

This is a good enough team Romo could perhaps have gone deeper than he's been in the playoffs if he could have stayed healthy.

Then we have fans who see an opportunity to finally shut the door on Romo's best quest for a championship to validate his career versus those who have never believed he was good enough.

Fans from both sides who have 10 years invested in being right or wrong .

We haven't done anything. Romo was the clear cut starter this summer. His injury woes put us in this situation. This year would have been an abject disaster had Dak not been an absolute gem of a rookie. We may have 2-3 wins on the season hoping for a miracle to compete in the division rushing Romo back. Sound familiar? So many are crying about Romo's chance.. etc.. Romo has been uncontested as our starter for a decade.. and FINALLY we're seeing a successor worthy of competing for his spot. This was caused by yet another injury which could have ruined another season. You simply cannot be absent this much for this long and expect to keep the status quo. Not in this sport.
