How the hell I didn't mention Dances with Wooves or Young Guns I don't know..

DWW is great and one of the few movies that portrays Native Americans more accurately. I also like how it shows their thoughts and lifestyle outside of warfare which most movies don't.
I love Young Guns because I was (somewhat still am) a Billy the Kid fanatic. On the other hand, like most Hollywood movies, parts of the movie piss me off due to how inaccurate or made up some scenes are but I get why they do it. Rarely is history portrayed accurately but I at least like it to be as close as possible.
I almost picked Dances With Wolves as my number one, but I've always loved Silverado and just couldn't bump it down to number two.
Damn bye week!Seems like we have one of these threads about once a month.
LOL...
Damn bye week!
Man! I had a vhs tape with Dern as the main character, I don't know if he was an undertaker or what( maybe a bounty hunter?)cuz' he hauled dead guys around in a one horse drawn cart and had a parasol or umbrella that kept getting more tattered and decrepit as the movie went on thru about 3 or 4 vignettes and at the end he's tooling off in a brand new casing-liner,,, I couldn't tell you the name of it for anything !,,, but I think' Moon' .right have been it the title,,,, I think we played this thread 6-8 months agoHard to disagree with you on this one, but my favorite character after was Bruce Dern.
LoL, I was trying to watch that the same time you were this morning, but nodded off about 30 minutes into itHow about my name is nobody was Henry Fonda and Terence Stamp also music by Ennio morricone. Very cleverly written and Terrence is great as the show off gunfighter.
I am watching it on the Get TV channel right now I think they repeat several times if you want to see it widescreen version.
Get is over air ch 49.2 dfw area.
Once Upon a Time in the West is another one with Henry Fonda that was pretty good
Where you missed the best parts I like to see in the bar where he slaps the guy every time he tries to draw his gun the guy was it backwards guns and when he hits the guys with that dummy out there in that amusement park.LoL, I was trying to watch that the same time you were this morning, but nodded off about 30 minutes into it
No votes for Wild Wild West with Will Smith???
