Nate wants us to practice in mud and sloppy elements too...

Ben loves exaggerating his injuries so he can be the hero and come back to play right after them.

I'm sure he will still play. But good news if it makes him even more immobile!

he will play Ben is tough. but that's pretty funny that even there practice field sucks. maybe it will get them to start thinking about putting a safer field down for the players.

Well, it does make sense to practice in the elements that you expect at game time. Jimmy Johnson used to water down the Cowboys practice field if there was a chance of rain during game time.

This is the risk you take with that though. Nothing wrong with the approach, but it is a risk.

The players and the owners both prefer a grass field, especially after Willie Parker broke his leg on turf at the end of last season. They considered installing field turf but choose not to do so. I don't think we'll be seeing any changes in the near future.

:lmao: Is that possible?

There is no doubt he will play. I remember when he was sick and had a 100.2 temperature or the time he had is surgery. The guy will play even if it hurts his team's chances if he does.

We're Pittsburgh! We're tough! We play on slag heaps and fields of gravel and broken glass.

No, you're just cheap.

Oh I agree, he is far from immobile. When I think of immobile, I think of Drew Bledsoe.

Cowboys should know how mobile he is, he shook off a ton of sacks the last time we played him (2004 in Dallas), and killed us when he escaped.

He was a rookie and completed almost every pass he threw that day it seemed. He killed us.

I think he's mobile. but I think the fact that he can break tackles and shake off defenders hypes his mobility to something it's not.

Really? 32 sacks. All of them are not the fault of the porous OL in Pitt. IIRC he has been sacked a lot over the last few years.

Him being slower with a bum knee will not help his chances avoiding Ware and company.
