Big failure by the GM

we only do it to obnoxious homers who insult other members.

you are a hater of fans with different opinions than yours.
here's a question you used once. "are you a scout?" then don't pretend to know everything.
No I’m a hater of haters like you who do nothing but hate. Everyday, every thread and every post.

And every day, every thread, every post, you insult someone. You call those who disagree with 'haters' but what you are doing is 'hating' on people for their opinions. In other words, you're a hater as much as anyone else.

I agree with you on most points . And yes Tyrad is not better than Gilbert whom I like and think needs more reps and confidence from the coaches . My worry is that the cowboys invested a massive cap space on Dak , who has no accomplishments in college or in the NFL, and had benefited from the cowboys OL , WR , RB platform, which is where most of the money on this roster . He has not done anything yet of notice in his career and the cowboys were 1-4 when he got injured last season ,

first off as fan im not stressing on cap $ or contracts...leave that to gms and fo guys

secondly,

2020 needs to slide out of your mind it was terrible year with covid, new schemes, no off season to assess players and full of major injurys..that is nto year to judge layers or coaches really..mulligan

dak healthy for 16-17 games is what we need to rebound..

i do however feel that the 2019 finish is very concerning with heathy roster to go 3-5 down the stretch 8-8 is what im judging and need evidence we are better..

lastly yes more concern has to be daks health and hos deal because he was hurt that cost us down the stretch especially the philly game with his shoulder, then only 4.5 games last year and now rehabbing a shoulder..

that where money comes into play, healthy dak can take up to the playoffs, dont care how much cash he makes against the cap, however not being helathy and costing us games hes missing, that when money comes into play..

agree backup is important but we have 4 weeks until that becomes necessary to address if need be.

Hope dak comes through as the cap situation is very tight and we are dependent on dak for the next 3-4 years . If he plays enough games.

this season maybe but the cap goes up a lot in 2022 and 2023 supposed to be new cap money from tv deal and will explode...

at least 10 teams have the same issues as their qbs come up for new deals..

again we watch football not read contracts..

The point being 90%+ of the back-up QB's on that list are better than what Dallas has currently.
point being? so a team had a mediocre started and drafted a QB in the 1st round and you are now saying that team did such a great job of addressing the QB position? There are several QBs on that list that havent taken a snap in the NFL, so no, point is not proven that they have better back up QBs than the Cowboys. But honestly, I dont really care. Weve seen multiple times in the past 3-4 years what happens around the league when the starter goes down for extended periods of time..... the season is over. Dak is a good QB, but he hasnt taken us very far. Expecting the back up to do decent is a joke IMO.

You are a horrible teacher. You just proved it again with this post.
This is one of many emails, college application letters, graduation emails, wedding invitations I have from players aor students over the years. When you get things like this from young people... you let me know. And you think you can judge my abilities as someone who has worked with young people for over 24 years?? bahahahhahahaha

XXXXXX,

Hello this is XXXXX, I just wanted to take the time to thank you so much for reconsidering coaching the high school team again. I know it may be really hard for you or anyone as a coach to put up with all the things you guys put up with. On Monday when I found out that you resigned I broke down in tears. I couldn't believe it that you were leaving us, everyday I look forward to softball because I know you're there making us the best softball players we could be. XXXXXX you have not only made me into a better fielder, base runner but also a person you have really made an impact in my life. I'm very thankful for all the effort and time you put into this program and I know many people are selfish and don't realize you don't get coaches like you but just remember you are part of us,(ME), XXXXX I am so glad you are back with us--I'm relieved softball is alive again.
Love XXXXXXXX

But again.... you are on here whining that someone insulted you, but it is ok for you to do so?? lol

It is subjective ,and you are right , they don’t always perform great once called upon , but there is talent there on the list and experience. The packers have a promising backup so do the Patriots and others . Gilbert for the cowboys can get better with some more reps . The main issue here is committing so much money for a QB that has chocked so many times against good teams , a QB who has no accomplishments at college or NFL, and is now an injured QB showing the wear and tear . A huge gamble .

IM not sure the Packers have a promising back up. We havent seen him play any, and we wont see him play this year either. Experience? We had Dalton last year, and I think most of us were pretty happy when we signed him. But that worked out to the tune of Dalton being 5-5..... crapola in my book. I just dont think it is possible to have a really good back up in todays NFL. There will always be 2-4 teams that have a solid backup because the guy was a starter at one point and now isnt good enough to be a starter and now carries the clip board. But that is a very small % of the teams.

Marriota SUCKED when he was the starter in Tennessee. He looked amazing in his one game for the Raiders that I watched... but no way will that make the previous 3 or so seasons I watched him SUCK for the Titans leave my memory, so Im not even sure we can say he is a decent backup.

so hows this rockport.... ill block you and then you wont ever have to see this horrible person post again. Now you an be happy.
I think that's what we all should do. All block him and just let him talk to himself like he probably does when he's not on this website anyways.

I don’t think dalton got the team behind him , the results were not good . But the results with Dak were 1-4 when he got injured . Not sure what is the great upgrade with dak back .

He didn't suck. He couldn't stay healthy.
