Saying Murray will never make history again isn't going out very far on the limb is it?

Come on. Look he is a nice back.
Jim Brown OJ and Emitt are clearly in another class. Don't make it ridiculous. None of those backs had three number 1s on their line. Think about that.

Just so you know, Joseph (I have no underwear or cologne) Randle is averaging a whopping 7.1 ypc.

7.1 ypc this season. Are you convinced it is not the Oline?

His biggest year is 11oo yards. Come on. In 4 years, he never broke 1500. Let alone a dominate season. If he is so good as you say, where are the numbers?

He is a nice back but not a franchise one and certainly not one to overpay for. They won't miss him especially with this oline.

Seriously?

Emmitt Smith first year was 937 yards with a 3.9 yard average. So should we have given up on him right there and then?

1100 yards last year is pretty good considering we were a pass happy team. He is gonna surpass that this year and possibly break the record books. And you seriously want to get rid of him?

No way I would want them drafting a rb any earliar than rd 3 and personally I would not even want this years 3rd used for rb.

They need a de in the first. They need to think about a Qb a cb and depth at o line and d line before drafting a rb.

So I wouldn't pay Murray what the top rb get. But I'm not using a draft pick early on rb either.

So I would be willing to negotiate. But if Murray goes elsewhere expect a drop off in run game v

That's like putting cheap goodyear tires on a Bugatti. They will be at the end of round 1.
There is no DE that will come in and do what that RB can do. Keep the D off the field.

Seriously? Emmitt Smith had no Oline? Have you ever heard of Larry Allen?

Or keep Murray and address the weaker parts of the team

I noticed you left out the 7.1 YPC that our 6th round back J.Randle has.
It's been four years. Where is the production?

Emitt's 2nd, 3rd and 4th years - are you really comparing these two? Stop embarrassing yourself

Didn't say he had no Oline.

Larry was a 2nd and the highest pick on that Oline. That's a fact. They lucked out cobbling that line together and spent the next 16 years thinking they could do it again.

3 number 1 picks on this line and they are young.

So if a 6 round pick can do it and it's not the back, it's the O line. Then why would u ever advocate using a. 1st round pick on a rb

The whole idea is contradictory.

How?

Strengthen what is making you win with a better back at a cheaper cost.
Better and cheaper.
Gurley or Gordon are better than Murray.
Murray will cost 6-7 million a year.
5 years for a number 1 RB will cost 3 million.
Follow?

LOL why should I mention about Randle's YPC? He doesn't command the attention that Murray does to a defense. His a good running back for sure. But you get a hold of him he is easy to tackle. I can't say that about Murray. He punishes people and is hard to tackle. Murray is a work horse that can carry the ball more than 20x a game and can take a 2 yard play and make something happen. I doubt Randle can handle that kind of pounding if he ever becomes the featured back.

As per YPC heck Romo has both running backs beat. I think his average is like 15 YPC. Do you consider him a great running back?

Yes Im bringing up Emmitt because if we gave up on him his first year he would never have achieved greatness. Something you are so willing to do in regards to Murray.

U don't know what Murray will demand. I said negotiate. If he leaves it's the randle show. I'm not drafting a rb early.

This year no team took a rb in the first round.

I don't agree with ur idea at all.

I don't have anything else to offer here.

Is it Murray's first year? LOL Who gave up on him? He played out his rookie contract as a 3rd round pick.

Yes, Romo is better. You got me. Yes, Murray is as good as OJ, Brown and Emitt. Obviously. Even though this is Murray's 4th year and he has 1100 as his best year. Signs of greatness going here.
(Are catching the heavy sarcasim)

Break out the tissues and get used to the fact that Murray will not be resigned.
Enjoy the season and let's hope he stays healthy and gets control over his fumbles.

Ok, don't agree. It's all good.
By the way, we have had a sneak preview of the Randle Show: underwear and cologne. It won't stink but it won't be pretty either

Murray is running for a record breaking year. Yet you want to already get rid of him. As a Cowboy fan your logic doesn't make sense. You can be as sarcastic as you want. But facts are fact. Murray is assaulting the record books. Next week he will eclipse Jim Brown's record. This season he is on pace to rush for 2000 yards - which no Cowboy has ever done. Heck, he might end up being this years MVP. Im not judging Murray with last years production. Im judging him from what he can do for this team right now.

Murray should break 1100 yards by week 9, maybe even earlier.

LOF Good night

You are going to hate yourself for posting this stupidity. But you can always claim a medical condition, it would be the only excuse that will protect you from your own self loathing. Murray will keep running to "darkness" and he will grow on you like a bad rash. You can scratch until your skin comes off in red tatters but you will be in sweet agony. Soon. Very soon. Mark my words, ignorance and/or blindness only goes so far, Murray is like the light at the end of a tunnel except he hits a heckuva lot harder than an oncoming car.
