Any public comments by legacy Cowboys supporting current players or ownership should be ignored until this team makes it to the conference championship game.

This means you Troy

The only way to reach Jerry is through the wallet. Quit going to the games and buying the merchandise.

I’m old enough to have watched all 67 Cowboys playoff games. All 36 wins and all 31 losses. That was the most embarrassing loss in Cowboys history. To be trucked at home by a 9-8 #7 seed is beyond inexcusable. It’s actually what this organization has become: A lazy embarrassment when it matters most.

As I watched that colossal failure tonight unfold into a 27-0 deficit with 2:00 left in the first half, I could not help but think that there is no other team in the entire playoffs who would have stunk it up that bad at home with everything in front of them. To lay an egg of that proportion in front of millions is not only disgusting, it is gutless.

But my fellow Cowboys fans, I can guarantee you one thing: It won’t change things much at the Star. Nope. If you think Jerry Jones is as mad as we fans are or is angry enough to make major changes throughout this organization, don't get your hopes up. I will predict it right now- there will be no Bill Belechick or Jim Harbaugh “to the rescue”. Because this ship sinks every year regardless of the HC.

Since our last SB, we’ve had 6 different HCs, and 8 different OCs and DCs. And one GM who won’t change. Promise you. He will be smiling this July at his putrid “State of the Cowboys” presser in “Ox-nerd” selling sand to all us fans in this 28 year desert. And most Cowboys fans will buy it again. Oh and expect Mike McCarthy to be seated with JJ and “Giggles” next July. Because JJ likes being comfortable more than he likes to be hungry.
Bobby, there is one thing for sure in this world and that's when they bury JJ he's only taking 3 SB trophies with him.

There is no evidence to the contrary unfortunately. And Jerry’s dream of getting “all the credit” is abiut as reliable as our defense yesterday.
Hazey I’m glad your op has been shared to Twitter/X! It deserves to be heard and it’s spot on about Jerry & “Giggles”!

McClay deserves some criticism. But if fans think letting him go for someone else will be a step in the right direction, I submit the 2000, 2001, 2002, and 2009 fantasy football drafts with Jerry and Giggles having fun. Until this organization owns their mistakes, nothing changes.
I loved the special teams draft and drafting a “cold weather” kicker specialist!

I knew when he let the eagles blast by us and win a super bowl and wouldn't go all in back then that he would never go all in to win a super bowl I adjusted my expectations to just making the playoffs.

Unfortunately as a Cowboys fan in this day and age that's where you need to have your expectations because Jerry is a selfish man who's comfort and lust for credibility has no equal.

He continues to do what's necessary to make himself happy but will never push all the chips to the middle of the table and satisfy the fan base. With a championship.

Bob there is a point where kids wont want to be Cowboys fans. I am 30, i have witnessed zero winning. My nephew who is 7 only knows the cowboys to be epic losers - any kid that age who is a fan get’s the works.

In 10 years, kids will look at the cowboys like the browns and the old fans will be dead. This is a crucial point for the franchise
I wonder about this. Where does this end? Cowboys are still clearly the main draw, but how long does that last? Out of curiosity why are you a Cowboys fan?

It ends when they sell the team and unfortunately there is enough Jones DNA left where we will come to our end before we ever see a championship.

Glad I was lucky enough to see the real Dallas Cowboys win championships back in the day.

The culture created by the Jones-dallas Cowboys will never allow them to achieve a championship as it keeps us a coach and a few players short at all times.

Adjust your expectations to just making the playoffs and you will make it through to the end.

"Foles is NOT an option!" - then watches Foles win a SB.

Repeat the same thing with Tom Brady.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again…
It’s the only way to get the joneses attention, is if the fans leave this team and no longer buy their merchandise or tickets.
That will wake them up…

They’ve been adjusted! I watch mainly for entertainment but I still get overly passionate, though next day I don’t really care. My dad was a pipefitter and as a kid he moved us to Texas in the 60s, so I was indoctrinated early. It’s hard to get the top tier expectations out of my blood

Reminded me of giants playoff game when we over looked them and JJ was in the field before the game handing out playoff tickets to the next game.

We simply were not ready. Not coaches or players. Quinn refused to change things up and we got ran all over. MM stayed with the same plays,, Was just gross. Now we wait until JJ is done counting his money to see what (if any) changes he will make..

I fully understand your pain brother as a young boy I lived and died with the Cowboys if they lost I wouldn't go to school it got to the point where my parents shut the television off and pulled the knobs off if they were losing but fortunately in those days there was Roger Staubach and he writed all the wrongs and created wonderful comebacks that brought a smile to my face.
And made me proud to be a Cowboys fan.

In contrast today I hope to see some good football during the season if we make the playoffs I feel we've done all we can do don't get me wrong when we secured the NFC East and got home games I thought there was a chance we could go a little further but as usual I was smacked back into reality.

There's just such a contrast between the real Dallas Cowboys that were led by military trained men who thrived on competition and never got rattled heck Tom Landry flew bomber missions in world war II coaching a football team was child's Play after that.
Roger Staubach was arguably the most clutch player of all time.

These men created America's team there was an aura about them and invincibility that was known League wide.

Now we are led by guys who have the nerves of a retired nitroglycerin driver.
They're tight they are jumpy they're unprepared they feel entitled and their failure to prepare prepares them to fail.

Now we are football's version of Rodney Dangerfield with good reason because there's always some horrifying negative record that we are breaking.

No player no coach can overcome Jerry and his dysfunction in running a football team.
All we can do is take the little crumbs of good football that we get to watch. Enjoy some of the young players maturing all the while knowing Jerry's master plan does not include a championship for the fans he is a selfish man committed to doing things his way in spite of the feelings of his fans

I don’t know what to tell you. Numerous people within the organization, current and former, in that time have said what I told you. Jason Garrett said the last time Jerry offered any pushback in the draft at all was the 2014 Martin/Manziel episode.
Then McClay sucks.
