Scandrick, Carroll, and Brown. Those are the corners we'll have against the Giants for sure.

If Lewis and Awuzie can't play, then what? Are we going to run out Duke Thomas and Marquez White against the Giants?

Even if a nugget comes from the upcoming waiver wire, will that player be ready to play in a week?

If Beckham heals in time for Week 1, how are the Cowboys going to holdup against Beckham, Shepard, Marshall, and Engram with no pass rush and these corners?

They should have spent a little more money in FA on cornerback.

I know, I know............. progress stoppers.

I left out Sammy Seamster.

I guess there's nothing to worry about.

The good news is, Awuzie can play. Said he could have gone the past two weeks but the trainers are playing it safe.

Duke Thomas is hurt and won't be able to go even if he were to make the team. As for our top three, it's a little troubling, I agree. That game against the Giants looks like it's going to be a shootout. But Scandrick, Brown, and Carroll aren't much different than what we had out there last year. Mo Claiborne was our best corner in 2016 and he missed over half the season.

Didn't Duke get injured also? I doubt we trot him out there...

Good news: he can play.
Bad news: he's a rookie who has no communication with his team mates, on the field, and will make mistakes against real pros.

Chido and Jourdan being out for much of this pre-season is the worst thing that could have happened to this D's back end, besides injuries to OScan and Brown.

The top 3 is key. If we have them it's not devastating. Having a 4th is a we can put on the field is a factor yes, but the top 3 is most vital

Duke Thomas has a high ankle sprain. Very doubtful he will be ready for the season.

In regard to Awuzie and Lewis, you just have to hope they were at the practices making mental notes while watching practices. It obviously is nowhere near getting practice or game time but it is at least something. White has played some so assuming he is healthy he would probably be active. Guessing Awuzie is the 5th corner assuming he is healthy. Lewis probably is inactive for the first few weeks at least while he gets some PT.

Would help if Crawford can get back to practice this week or next. He has been walking without a boot for some time so he probably is fairly close. The D line is going to be patchwork without Irving and Moore, but we will find a way to make what we have work.

Maybe the Giants recievers will come in hung over, straight off a party yacht? Oh wait, they only do that in the playoffs.

The biggest issue right now is somehow getting you to see and embrace the many positives going into this season bruh.

If we can get Malik & Pea into Eli face early and often.....I like our chances. Their O-Line is their achillies heel, have to exploit it. Maybe some Jaylon blitzes sprinkled in

Jaylon might be at his best on a straight blitz. Have we seen him do that at all, this preseason?
Wouldn't surprise me if we haven't and they're going to throw his athleticism at the Giants on week 1 on things they haven't seen him do at all.

Biggest issue is still the lack of pass rush, the good thing is parts of the Giants oline stink so we could do ok in the first game.

I think flat out the Cowboy offense is far better than the Giant offense... And defensively I don't think there's a lot of difference between them.

McFadden is the 4th corner (as of right now).

Awuzie will play.

Personally I think Carrol, Brown and a 2017 Scandrick is better than Carr, Mo and the 2016 Scandrick.

Carroll alone makes that statement questionable.

He is a step down from even the mediocre play of Carr and Claiborne.

He's going to frustrate the crud out of you. Prepare thyself.
